  When I arrived the manager was very friendly and helpful. He even got my room ready for check in early. I thought my room was cozy. However at night I went to get water from the vending machine and it was out of order. When I asked about it the next day I was told it was supposed to be removed over a year ago. The downstairs vending machine worked but was half empty and also had no water available. The breakfast bar had good options.....but... the eggs and sausage were not up to Serv Safe holding temps. When you ate them you could tell they were warmed up but no longer warm. Additionally, if you are taller than 5"7" you might not fit under the shower head to wash your hair.

  The gentleman at the front desk was very nice during check-in and the room had a fridge, microwave and hair dryer. They offer free underground parking which was very nice and it's walking distance to several restaurants. Unfortunately that's where the good points end. Upon entering the room the A/C was off and it was 86°F. The desktop and one of the nightstands were dirty and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The sink didn't properly drain and the toilet wouldn't flush properly.

  Overall atmosphere: Boring, quiet. Hotel was almost empty. Security: Questionable. The garage, elevator room, and stairs and not locked, even at night. You don’t need a key card to get in the hotel. They said it’s a safe area and to be fair I didn’t see a single potential “bad guy” hanging out in that whole area. Might still feel better having the doors locked and needing a key to get in, or go through the lobby. Breakfast: Tasted a bit off, bagels stale. Price: Cheapest in area. Parking free. Walkability: Good. Street is lined with restaurants. Need to drive to any grocery stores though. Cleanliness: Okay. The ice bucket was moldy. I cleaned it with Clorox wipes I brought. The shower was perfectly clean but for some reason it had maybe a 6 foot ceiling and the shower head is at about 5 feet up so you have to bend down to wash your face and hair.

  Great location! Several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is older. It was strangely empty during our visit. We did like the free parking. Front desk was very friendly. I would stay there again, but only for one or two nights.
