  the room was unsafe and not as advertised. The floors were wet and sticky, the room smelled like urine, and there was no hot water. I notified the front desk immediately, but no resolution was offered and I was told I would still be charged. I left within 30 minutes, returned the keys, and did not stay. STAY AWAY this place is gross

  I had reviewed the place here on Google reviews and although there were many complaints. I took a chance based on some recent reviews and the responses from the actual staff to the bad reviews is what caught my attention. I could tell they were honest and accountable responses. When we arrived, it was a normal welcoming atmosphere. We have a very comfortable bed at home and even at a Marriott I get disappointed with the beds. This place I didnt even think of how comfortable it was until I left. We stayed in room 211. Anyway, we did experience parking the second night after a long day at Knotts, which was a mile away, but I was able to bring it to the attention of the office staff and I was helped right away with no complaints just a quick solution. No drama and I wasn’t treated like I was a Waste of their time. For the price and the age of the place the owners and staff do a great job! I would definitely stay here again.

  What a strange experience we had here. No microwaves in the room only in the lobby. Staff was very friendly but this hotel is sorely lacking. The beds were awful and dipped in. The pillows were half the size of a regular sized pillow and very flat need to be replaced. Breakfast was sad but there was juice. No extra towels we had 4 people who needed to shower but only gave us 3 towels and said no extras. Room was clean no bugs. Someone also threw French fries all over our car.

  I am currently in a dispute with my bank. They posted charges of $240 and $260 to my card; they used my information—they are absolute crooks! I haven't been with them for a year now, yet those charges appeared this month. I was out of town at the time, so there is no way I could have been at that location. 😡

  I had a mixed experience at this hotel, where the room cleanliness and bed quality were high points, but the lack of basic amenities was frustrating. The room itself felt reasonably clean, including the floor, sheets, towels, and bathroom. The bed featured a memory foam mattress that was very comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the large size of the room and the good outlet placement right next to the bed. The Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay. Regarding the bathroom, there was ample hot water, though the water pressure was only average. I did notice that the water was a little bit slow to drain in both the sink and the bathtub. While there is a hot tub on-site, I didn't get a chance to use it or see if it was actually hot. I was also told at check-in that the pool is seasonal. The most disappointing part of the stay was the lack of basic furnishings and the breakfast. There was no desk chair provided—or any chair at all—leaving the bed as the only place to sit. There were also no lamps or auxiliary lighting, only bright ceiling lights. Additionally, I could hear constant, loud footsteps from the guests in the room upstairs. Breakfast, which runs from 7 AM to 9 AM, was essentially worthless. The juice machine was broken, and the only options were a few packets of oatmeal, some dry cereal, and a few low-quality, Walmart-style mini muffins. If you just need a clean bed and a large room, this works, but don't expect a functional workspace or a real meal. (Room 103)
