Received the worst customer service from this property today! Unable to cancel a room due to travel and weather conditions (they make their own policies and are completely different from other IHG properties.) Was headed to So Cal. and was able to cancel rooms down there as they understood the rough weather conditions and event cancellations happening. Still waiting for a call back from the Bishop general manager after two days! No decency and surely not trying to receive return business.

My family and I checked out early because one of the maintenance guys kept staring at my 12 year old daughter in the pool. When my husband told the front desk clerk, Steven is his name, he told my husband he didn't care and walked away. Great hotel, awesome pool, horribly creepy male staff.

Clean & updated rooms and good size. Comfortable beds, medium firm mattress. Can hear hallway noise but otherwise first floor, mid-building room was quiet enough. Carpeted rooms. Most disappointing aspects were they require a 3-day “advanced booking” for a AAA discount (ridiculous!), provide coffee cups that are plastic or styrofoam lined, and don’t have dark-roast coffee.

Overall, the hotel is acceptable, but several problems ruined the stay. Watch the hot water. It comes out scalding, and I left with a blister. I didn’t expect that, and it’s unsafe. The room looked fine at first, yet it wasn’t truly clean. The bed felt like a board and the pillows went limp. The part that pushed me over the edge: staff used the breakfast area for their laundry while guests ate. That’s unprofessional. Because of these issues, I’m at three stars, not more. For over $200 a night he would expect a little bit more professionalism and cleanliness.

Not much to say, its a clean enough place to stay when the there is a snow storm ahead, and they allow dogs (extra 40$). It is absolutely not worth the huge price 400$/night (not including dog) and it is absolutely price gouging. They have a corporate rate with City of LA (as seen by the vast amount of city trucka parked in the lot) and I am sure they are given significant discounts while we do the heavy $ lifting.
