5 stars is not enough. We stayed at the four seasons in Whistler as we were getting married in the valley nearby. They did everything except roll out a red carpet everywhere we walked.
We were upgraded to a deluxe suite, and the service was exceptional. The staff were knowledgeable and accomodating, and really made our stay a 10/10.
The room and facilities are kept clean and tidy, with luxury amenities around every corner and staff to assist with any inquiries or tasks.
We will 100% be returning in the future!!

Breakfast at Braidwood Tavern inside Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler.
A truly perfect morning and one of the best breakfasts we had in Whistler. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked perfectly, and the atmosphere was cozy, elegant, and relaxing. The service was warm and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Starting the day here made our Whistler trip unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an amazing breakfast experience.

This hotel was one of the most incredible stays I have experienced from my travels.
We got an Executive Suite and the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning, alongside a slight view of the courtyard area of the hotel. The room was so spacious, it had everything you could image. The balcony was so nice to just sit on and take in the views of the surrounding scenery. The bed was so comfortable it is literally made for you to sleep in past the time to wake up. The bathroom was very spacious: shower, bathtub, double sinks and mirrors. The room was very well equipped as well: closets, umbrellas, TV’s, mini-bar, coffee machine, a very comfortable sofa, fireplace, chairs, etc.
The pool area was my absolute favourite, it was heated and had a bar with food/drink. There was also a sauna outdoor was well.
The complimentary car/shuttle service was very worth it, it takes you to the Whistler Village center and was there to pick us up and drop us off at the start and end of our stay. Just a 3-4 minute ride only, very practical.
Alexe, the concierge was the one who did our check-in. She was super helpful and knowledgeable. Given she was the first person we spoke to upon our arrival, she provided us with excellent service.
As for breakfast, dinner and daytime drinks we went to Braidwood Tavern and it was very delicious.
Beyhan and Agrim were always there ready to assist us at the front desk during our stay.
Absolutely loved it here and cannot wait to be back, the Four Seasons really goes above and beyond for their guests.

Four Seasons Resort Whistler is a high-end alpine luxury resort in Whistler’s Upper Village, offering a cozy mountain-lodge feel combined with strong service, large rooms, and a focus on ski and spa experiences rather than ski-in/ski-out access.
What makes it great
Spacious, chalet-style rooms with fireplaces and deep comfort-focused design
Excellent service reputation and attentive staff (often praised as a key strength)
Heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, and a strong spa experience year-round
Quiet, upscale atmosphere away from the busiest village crowds
Strong ski concierge + shuttle service to lifts
Great food & drink options on-site, including upscale dining and après-ski lounges
What people don’t love
Not ski-in/ski-out (requires shuttle or short walk)
Expensive extras (food, drinks, services add up quickly)
Some guests feel dining is good but not consistently “top-tier luxury restaurant” level
Location is slightly removed from Whistler Village nightlife
Best rooms
Deluxe rooms → already large and very comfortable
Fireplace rooms/suites → signature cozy mountain experience
Suites → ideal for longer stays or families, feel more like apartments
Best for
Ski holidays where comfort and service matter most
Couples wanting a quiet luxury mountain escape
Families who want space + pool + ski access support
Travelers who prefer calm over party atmosphere
Not ideal for
Skiers who want true ski-in/ski-out convenience
Budget-conscious Whistler trips
Guests wanting to be directly in the nightlife center
Quick verdict
This is one of Whistler’s most comfortable luxury stays, known more for relaxed alpine elegance and service than location advantage. If you want a refined, quiet base with excellent rooms and spa facilities, it’s a strong pick. If your priority is stepping directly onto the slopes or being in the middle of village energy, other Whistler hotels may suit you better.

Our stay at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler was nothing short of exceptional, defined by a level of care and attention to detail that is increasingly rare.
From the moment we arrived, the experience felt effortless. Fynn welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for our stay, while Jonnie ensured our departure was just as seamless. Throughout, the valet team delivered service that consistently went above and beyond.
What truly distinguished this experience was the thoughtful inclusion of our toddler. Upon arrival, we found a robe and slippers perfectly sized for him, along with a curated baby toiletry set. Dining was equally considered, with toddler-specific cutlery, bibs, and dishware provided without request. It transformed what can often be a challenging experience into one that felt relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. It is rare for young children to be so intentionally included in a luxury setting, and it did not go unnoticed.
The resort’s daily offerings, including maple taffy and wine tastings, added a layer of charm and discovery that elevated the overall experience. These thoughtful touches, while not expected, created moments that felt both personal and memorable.
Dining throughout our stay was consistently excellent, both in quality and service. At the pool, Ollie stood out for his attentiveness and energy, exemplifying the same high standard upheld by the entire team. There was a clear sense that every staff member was committed not just to service, but to care.
One moment in particular captured this perfectly. When our son dropped his toy over the balcony, the engineering team retrieved it within the hour. It was an unexpected gesture that spoke volumes about the culture of the property.
It is the accumulation of these small, deliberate details that defines the experience. A custom cookie with our son’s name and a thoughtful “safe travels” treat at departure were simple yet meaningful gestures that left a lasting impression.
The spa experience was equally remarkable. My treatment was deeply relaxing and intuitively tailored, reinforcing the sense that every aspect of the stay had been carefully considered.
This was not simply a luxurious stay. It was a genuinely thoughtful and memorable experience, one that we will return to without hesitation.
