  Staff here really do go the extra mile. Somehow corporate gets out of their way and the customer really does get first class service. During our midweek visit, For example a staff appreciation barbecue party was arranged to provide both front-desk and valet service as well as a holiday for junior staff. I hope it was as fun a party as it was an innovative and inventive idea. A reliable travel partner for decades of work and vacation travel hospitality. Very central location, covers walkability score!

  Great location. However, this is definitely not the hotel to stay in for a relaxing weekend getaway as there is absolutely no sound proofing in the rooms, so once your neighbour is awake, so are you! We may have just been very unlucky to get a room right beside the elevator, which means you can hear both the elevator and everyone’s conversations while they are waiting for the elevator. If you can, definitely request a room away from the elevator. Honestly, rooms beside the elevator should be sold at a discount with a warning, as ours really wasn’t fit for sleeping in past 7am. That might be fine for some people, but we work 5 days a week so like to at least get one lie in on the weekend, and that just wasn’t possible in this hotel. If you are staying here, prepare for an early start!

  Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la chambre était très propre, les employés étaient très aidants et souriants . L’hôtel est très bien situé pour marcher et aller faire du tourisme . Je recommande fortement

  I've had some harrowing hotel experiences lately, so this place was a breath of fresh air. Quiet, clean, requests fulfilled in a timely manner, access to a lot of things nearby, etc.

  Overall a great nights stay! The hotel is clean and rooms clean and well kept. The staff (including Stephen) were polite, kind, and very helpful. There is a restaurant next door (Ruby) but also plenty of restaurants nearby. Very nice location. The hotel is a short walk from the inner harbour and other key attractions. There are also bus stops nearby on Douglas Street for BC transit so very helpful if coming from or going to the Swartz ferry location or Butchart Gardens for example. There is a coffee/latte maker machine on the lobby floor. The photo of the hotel on the Best Western website is from Broad Street but can occasionally walk past the hotel if coming from Douglas street. Overall though great stay!
