  Okay, aber zu teuer: Das Hotel punktet mit seiner zentralen Lage in Vancouver. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leider ist es sehr teuer, auch gemessen am gebotenen Komfort; anderswo haben wir deutlich bessere Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisse erlebt.

  Rooms are tired and smell. Staff are rude. The service at the restaurant “The Park” is horrendous. The staff are extremely rude and treat people like trash. Food is disgusting. Avoid at all costs. There are plenty of better restaurants and pubs around the corner. Businesses like this should understand that customers come first. Really bad experience

  Convenient location...but the room was tiny...we had a 12x12 room with a tiny bathroom. We had the room right next to the elevator shaft...regardless of booking months in advance with Beds Online. Room was not clean. The nights stay was the worst experience with hotels and staff in all my life...and they charged my card again for the room. 0/10...would not recommend!

  We had a great stay at Best Western Sands. The room was very comfortable and included shampoo, body wash, and even lotion. We reserved the spacious room with two queen beds, and it also had a large sofa bed, making it perfect for up to six people. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the beach. There is a restaurant inside the hotel, plus beauty salons and coffee shops nearby. About a 5-minute walk away, you'll find a great variety of international restaurants and food options from many different countries. Overall, a comfortable stay in a convenient location. Highly recommended!

  After a long time travelling we weren't expecting to be woken the next morning, at 6.30, to a dog barking. Yep, they allow dogs. This motel really knows how to cash in when an event is being held. We booked months out, not knowing the soccer was on. The prices were over 4 times their normal price. We asked for a current comparison quote for the nights we were staying. Couldn't provide one. We do all our bookings through a 3rd party, a lot of bookings. I could have gone back to them with a chance of a partial refund. We needed that quote. For the price we were charged we could have stayed at the Pan Pacific, Hyatt or Fairmont. Its a reasonable area to stay in but would I stay there again,,,hell no.
