The staff at the Crown Columbia went above and beyond in every way in our 5 night stay. They were accommodating and kind in every interaction. Our team feels like we have a home away from home in Trail. Madison and the other staff were amazing and warm and made an effort to genuinely make our group comfortable.
The location is exceptional for exploring Trail's many hidden gems, enjoying games at the Cominco Arena, and accessing the stunning walking paths and pedestrian bridge.
The beautiful on-site bar is a fabulous place to gather, and doubles as the fully stocked coffee bar in the mornings.
The gym facilities are spacious and have everything needed for whole team warm ups and stretches.
The rooms are spacious, many offer beautiful river views, and the beds are better than any hotel bed I've experienced. The king sized beds are true kings, and the kitchen facilities offered in the spaces help accommodate a longer stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return!

Two of us came here for a short ski trip to Red Mountain. We chose Trail over Rossland to be near the river and are very glad we did. And the hotel is GORGEOUS. Rooms are beautifully renovated, the bed is comfortable, nice bathroom. There wasn't any breakfast the days we were there, but we had a kitchen so we walked over to the Safeway and got some things. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. Huge monitored parking area so we didn't worry about leaving our car.

Very nice updated rooms. Do not judge by the exterior building. This place is clean, staff is helpful. And there plenty of parking for any size vehicle. Lots of places to eat walking distance and they even have a very pleasant lounge that serves beer and wine. Will return

Lovely hotel, absolutely wonderful staff, very good interior design (great paint colour btw), outstanding-looking vintage bar lounge, they need softer toilet paper and tissues in the rooms. Great value, real gem.

Nice big suites. Views are not of the river as only two windows face that way. Not a 5 star resort. Newly renovated which is nice. No fitness, no restaurant, no concierge. Limited housekeeping, but I am sure this was a Covid thing, but the price wasn't discounted. Friendly staff, just needed more than the one they had on the front desk. Bagged free breakfast was an apple, a muffin (not even freshly baked) a juice box and a granola bar (from Costco), or you could get a discount at the restaurant across the street that was open at 9am. The place might get a four star for the Reno, but for the price and the stated stars of the resort, this fell short of four stars for me.
