  Beautiful location to explore the region and enjoy the beach, tackling the sun. Rooms are great for families. Unfortunately, holiday experience overshadowed by rather poor breakfast services and difficulties to timely arrange refills, plate, cuttlery etc. E.g. around 9h30, orange juice already empty. When questioning the waiter why there is no supply happening, the answer received amongst others was: "no one is dying if there is no orange juice". These are answers you do not wish to hear as a customers in a Best Western....

  Das Tin Wis Resort in Tofino hat eine ganz besondere, beinahe spirituelle Atmosphäre. Die wunderschöne Anlage, die Nähe zur Natur und die liebevollen Details strahlen eine wohltuende Ruhe aus – ein Ort, an dem man sofort entspannen kann. Unser schönes Zimmer bot einen seitlichen Blick auf den Strand sowie einen wunderbaren Blick in den gepflegten Garten. Das Frühstück im Restaurant war lecker, und der tolle Hot Tub war nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag genau das Richtige. Einen kleinen Kritikpunkt gab es allerdings: Wir hatten das Zimmer für vier Personen gebucht, bei unserer Ankunft war jedoch nur das Doppelbett vorbereitet. Erst auf Nachfrage erklärte man uns, dass es sich bei dem Sofa um eine Klappcouch handelt, die innen bereits bezogen sei. Hier dürfte das Housekeeping etwas aufmerksamer sein, das zweite Bett vor der Ankunft vorbereiten und auch eine ausreichende Anzahl an Handtüchern bereitlegen. Insgesamt war es dennoch ein ganz besonderer Aufenthalt – hier wäre ich sehr gerne noch länger geblieben!

  Beach is fantastic and I wish I could say the same about the hotel. Sofa bed sheets stained with blood, sand, and crumbs. Mattress on it so worn out it was basically a hammock. King bed mattress equally trashed. Bathroom sink clogged the entire stay. Breakfast was hostel-tier. Zero service, zero cleanliness. Best Western Plus in name only — this property doesn’t belong in the brand. Stay elsewhere.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable stay at Best Western Plus Tin Wis Resort What an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Tofino. Best Western Plus Tin Wis Resort has one of the most beautiful locations imaginable, right on the ocean, with breathtaking views and the beach literally at your doorstep. Waking up to the sound of the Pacific and looking out over the water is something we will never forget. But what truly made our stay so special was the people. Every member of the hotel staff we encountered was incredibly kind, warm, caring and attentive. The same goes for the wonderful team at the restaurant. Everyone genuinely seemed to care about their guests and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable and looked after. The kindness and compassion shown to our family during our stay meant more to us than we can put into words. It wasn’t simply good hospitality — it felt sincere and personal, and that made a lasting impression on all of us. Combine that level of service with the spectacular beachfront location, the beautiful surroundings and the atmosphere of Tofino, and you have a truly special place. Thank you to the entire team at Best Western Plus Tin Wis Resort and the restaurant for your warmth, care and hospitality. You helped make our time in Tofino unforgettable.   We stayed here in April and were genuinely excited, as the grounds are beautiful and the view from our room was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, our experience quickly went downhill. As soon as we opened the door to our room, we were hit with a strong odor of feces mixed with air freshener. The bathroom light and exhaust fan were already on, making it seem as though someone had just used the bathroom shortly before we arrived and the room hadn't been properly prepared. We opened the balcony door and left for a while to let the room air out. We also asked the front desk to replace our towels, as they had been placed only about a foot away from the toilet in the small bathroom, which we found unhygienic. When we returned later and started preparing dinner, we discovered the toilet plunger stored inside the kitchen cabinet alongside the dish drying rack. That is completely unacceptable from a cleanliness and sanitation standpoint. As loyal Best Western members who stay at BW properties regularly, we contacted customer service regarding this experience and have been working with a representative to resolve the issue. We requested a full refund of the points used for this stay, but instead were told they could only offer a free night's stay that expires next year. Since we won't be returning to the island before then, this is not a meaningful resolution. It's disappointing because the property itself is beautiful, but the lack of cleanliness and the inadequate response to our concerns left us feeling that our loyalty as repeat customers was not valued. Unfortunately, it will make us think twice before booking with BW.
