Choosing this hotel was, without a doubt, the worst mistake of our trip. We stayed in Room 147, and honestly, I’m not sure where to even begin. The floors clearly hadn’t been vacuumed. We moved the couch and discovered moldy water bottles and garbage hiding behind it. Apparently, the couch was being used as a long-term storage unit. The bathroom was even worse. There was mold in the shower, and the toilet paper holder was broken. The shower was basically unusable, so we weren’t even able to properly shower during our stay. And no, simply having cleaning staff come back for an hour isn't going to magically make mold disappear. We also tried to enjoy the pool/hot tub area, but that came with its own surprises. The pool was almost as hot as the hot tub, the hot tub had a band-aid floating in it, and there was a large ant crawling around. Nothing says “relaxing vacation” quite like wondering what else might be sharing the hot tub with you. We spoke with the manager about the condition of the room and the fact that we couldn't use the shower. Unfortunately, instead of offering any sort of reasonable compensation, we were repeatedly told that we should have left the hotel for an hour so the cleaning staff could come back and try to clean it. We were also offered points, which might sound nice — except we have absolutely no intention of ever staying at another Holiday Inn again. The breakfast area was another disappointment. It was cramped, poorly organized, and difficult to navigate, with everyone basically packed together trying to figure out where everything was. And the food? The eggs were so rubbery I’m pretty sure they could have doubled as hockey pucks. What is especially disappointing is that this location already has numerous reviews mentioning cleanliness issues. At some point, you would think corporate would take notice and invest in more staff, better cleaning, and some serious quality control. A hotel room should at the very least be clean enough to shower in, and guests shouldn't have to move furniture to discover someone else's garbage and moldy bottles. Corporate really needs to take a serious look at this location. We certainly won't be back. Good luck everybody else who stays there. Stay safe!

Great stay at the Holiday Inn. This was our second visit we stayed in July in a suite with a kitchen, which was super convenient. Our August room had a jetted tub that we loved. Staff were friendly, the pool was nice, and the airport shuttle was easy to use. Only downside was the suite bathroom being quite tiny. Breakfast was great for kids, and the free lobby coffee with flavoured creamer was a nice touch

This hotel is awful. I'm an IHG member and have stayed at many Holidays Inns and this the most negative experience. Here is my recap: 1. By far the worst shuttle service. It took over one hour for the driver to pick me up. He said “you've been waiting for a long time, huh?” Did he apologise? No. 2. The iron was broken. Luckily the cleaner got me a new one. 3. I arrived at the hotel early and asked for an early check-in. The woman at front desk promised me she would call me if a room became available. She didn't. However I returned 1 hour before check-in and my room was ready. Keep in mind I am here for work. 4. One the keys didn't work. I guess that is standard so no big deal. 5. The coffee is weak. I was still tired after drinking it. 6. The bathroom next to the gym was hideous. I will not going into details. 7. The Dove soap in the shower gave me a temporary skin rash. 8. I got one of those generic text messages asking how my stay was going and I voiced my complaints. Got the typical “sorry we didn't live up to your expectations” reply with no action taken. 9. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. You need a car if you stay here. On a positive note, the room has a microwave and Neetu the cleaning lady was nice. I'm so done with Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn is out.

Most of the staff we interacted with were wonderful. They reserved the airport shuttle for us, prepared breakfast to go bags since we had an early morning departure, and greeted us warmly. The shuttle was timely, the driver was polite, and both the young lady who greeted us at the front desk around 11:00 a.m. the day we arrived and the gentleman working at the front desk the morning we left were especially kind. Unfortunately, the condition of our room and our experience with the young woman working at the front desk from our check in around 5:00 p.m. through that evening made this a very disappointing stay. As soon as we entered the room, we were met with an overwhelming musty smell. The room was also quite warm, so I initially assumed the air had simply been stagnant. I turned the air conditioning down to 65°F and texted the front desk about the smell before we left to get dinner, but I never received a response. The hotel does not have a restaurant open for dinner, which was fine, and we were thankfully able to walk to Seven 10 Kitchen + Bar nearby, which I highly recommend. When we returned, the room was a little cooler, although it never got below 70°F, and the musty smell was even stronger. We were exhausted and ready to shower and go to bed, but then found what appeared to be mold in the caulking around the shower. Since it was late and we were exhausted, we did not want to pack everything back up and move rooms. However, I still went downstairs to make the hotel aware of the problem. The same young woman who checked us in continued cutting me off and immediately insisted that what we saw was discoloration, not mold, without looking at the photos I had taken. She did offer to move us, but when I explained that it was too late for us to move and that I had contacted the front desk about the smell before dinner without receiving a response, she went to a back room, spoke with someone, and returned with an aggressive and dismissive response. She said that engineering had determined it was not mold and that, since we declined to move rooms, the most she could offer was 5,000 IHG points. I understand that moving rooms was technically an option, but by that point it was very late, we were exhausted, and we had already attempted to report the issue hours earlier without receiving a response. More than anything, I was disappointed by how quickly my concerns were dismissed. Given the musty odor, the condition of the shower, and the room’s inability to cool properly, it did not feel clean, comfortable, or worth the price we paid. The gentleman at the desk the next morning, however, was a complete contrast. When he asked about our stay and I mentioned the musty room, he sincerely apologized and thanked me for letting him know. That small amount of genuine hospitality made such a significant difference. It is a shame because many members of the staff were friendly and helpful, but the condition of the room and the way our concerns were handled that evening made the stay miserable.

Be careful when booking and do not make my mistake. There are three Holiday Inn's that offer shuttle to/from airport. I booked the wrong one, this one, which is in a more remote location. We had thought we could walk to public transportation and restaurants but you can't do that with this Holiday Inn. So instead we had to Uber everywhere which cost more because of the location. If you're using a third party please carefully check where the address is for the Holiday Inn so you're getting the one you want.
