  Literally the worst place we’ve ever stayed. Squished bugs in the bathroom tile, an air conditioner so loud (and useless) that it goes off every 10 minutes and sounds light a freight train when it’s on. The overall vibe is that of a property that is not being maintained. There were holes in the walls, stained carpets, uncomfortable bed and it was not clean. Charging $250 a night is ludicrous. Seriously, do not stay here

  Room was tiny and felt very unclean, there were holes in the wall that weren't patched, bug smears on the bathroom tiles, paper missing from the wallpaper and the air-conditioning sounded like a jet taking off every time it turned. Not worth $240 a night, spend your money else where. Would not recommend.

  BEWARE: Health Hazard, Severe Bug Infestations, and Horrible Service! ​Do not stay at Stoke Hotel Revelstoke. Our family stay was a complete nightmare. ​Extreme Pest Problem: Swarms of mosquitoes covered us in bites in the lobby and parking lot. The family with us even had to change both of their rooms due to relentless mosquitoes and bugs. We also found active spiders and thick cobwebs inside our bathroom and directly in the coffee maker! ​Filthy Amenities: There is no pool. The hot tub was filled with stagnant, bright green water and insects. A bite near the hot tub caused severe facial swelling that spread to both of my eyes. ​Missing Essentials: No shampoo, toothbrushes, or toothpaste were supplied. The shower water left our hair completely dry and damaged, and the hotel's lotion burned my skin. ​Zero Service: Breakfast had practically no vegetarian options. Management flatly refused a refund despite these unsanitary conditions. ​Because my brother works in the Health Department, we are filing a formal report and taking legal action over these health violations. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else!

  To: Management, Stoke Hotel Revelstoke ​I am writing to formally log an urgent complaint regarding our recent stay at Stoke Hotel Revelstoke. What was anticipated to be an enjoyable visit turned into an alarming health and safety hazard for my family, resulting in a severe one-star experience. ​During our stay, we encountered multiple severe issues regarding sanitation, basic maintenance, and guest safety: ​Severe Insect Infestation: Upon our arrival, the exterior premises and reception area were heavily infested with mosquitoes. The lack of standard pest control measures resulted in multiple painful bites across our entire family. ​Unsanitary Hot Tub Facilities: Although we were informed of on-site amenities, there was no functioning pool. The hot tub was filled with stagnant, bright green water infested with insects. Attempting to use these facilities resulted in direct injury: a mosquito bite to my eyelid caused severe facial swelling. ​Defective Amenities & Chemical Irritants: The hotel failed to provide basic oral hygiene essentials, such as toothpaste or toothbrushes, as well as complimentary shampoo. Furthermore, the lotion provided in our room caused an immediate adverse reaction, aggravating my facial swelling, while the poor water quality left our hair extremely dry and rough. ​Unacceptable In-Room Hygiene: Upon inspecting the room, we discovered active spider infestations inside both the bathroom and the in-room coffee maker, which was completely covered in spiderwebs. ​Inadequate Dining Services: The complimentary breakfast offered virtually no vegetarian options, making it extremely difficult for our family to find suitable meals. ​When we brought these unacceptable conditions to your team's attention and requested a full refund, our request was outright refused. ​Please be advised that my brother serves in the Health Department. Given the clear health code violations, hazardous water conditions, and unsanitary environment, we are currently preparing a formal report and initiating legal proceedings with public health authorities regarding this matter. ​We expect a prompt response from senior management regarding a full resolution. ​Sincerely, Room 212 l EDITED This hotel did not refund us and he gave us his phone number and he is not replying or answering it and he did not even give us some tears or just cause he's not answering the Pope I do not recommend this because he's just replying so people will see how nice he is but it's actually that he's not nice because he did that to us so please do not book this hotel

  Breakfast lovers and enthusiasts!!! The Stoke has an included breakfast buffet that I have to say, as an experienced tour bus driver, is the VERY BEST that youll find anywhere in the rockies!!! Cute clean room too! Oh... and as a curly gurl, the bathroom shampoo and conditioners were 100% lovely and light!! (Ill be looking up the manufacturer to order). Shopped the hotel price and I was glad this spot had the best price so that Id discover this off the charts breakfast!!! Ill be back!
