Now I hope I’m getting my money back before I check out after this experience so far. Because this is AWFUL so far. Should have walked away soon as I went to check in. If you want to not get any sleep and have to deal with a janky hotel where there will be no accountability by management stay here!!! I go to check in starting my 3 night stay with my family while out on business. I have my wife, baby and my dog with me. I selected a pet friendly room. I pay for my 3 nights up front which is fine. Told I can’t have receipt until I leave even though I just paid. Given waiver to sign saying there is no dogs allowed in room. Now the lady can clearly see me standing here with my dog next to me and I say no that’s not right I have a pet friendly room. That was correct I did, so now I have to pay my pet fee. $172 for 3 nights. The waiver I signed and booked online as well said $25 a night. I question it but pay it because I’m told the system is telling the lady at the desk I have to pay this. Now i travelled 6 hours to get here and it’s past 10pm. I pay the money. Ask for my receipt again and my room receipt as I have already paid and was told it’s emailed to you. It never was emailed to me. Minor inconvenience but I also paid 2x what I signed and agreed on??? I get put into my room and move everything into it with my family. Within the hour of being in the room trying to get ready to sleep for work in the AM, power goes out in half off the room near midnight and lights are flickering on and off. Can’t charge work devices, can’t sleep with lights acting like a light show. New lady at front desk takes over and I will say she is AMAZING. Super clear communication. Immediately says I’ll get you into a new room super nice. Have to move all of our stuff into new room which is fine. Floor is dirty with black stuff all around but it’s manageable I want to sleep as it’s past midnight now. I let the lady know we moved rooms and ask about my receipt. Kindly explains I’ll get it at the end of the stay and also says she noticed I was charged double for pet fee so they will refund me half at the end. Awesome I just guess the First Lady assumed by BABY was also a dog? Clearly can’t tell the difference shouldn’t be working at a desk. Then the wake up start. 5:30am BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG non stop above us. The hallway you can hear everything. Can’t sleep. Came here for business took my family and it has been awful so far. Lady at the desk amazing again called to make sure the banging stopped above us. Who would have thought a baby and a dog would make NO noise but the hotel is built so inadequately that it would make all the noise so no one can sleep. 0/10 Except the lady at the desk over night 10/10

Definitely worth a stay if you want 3 hours of sleep. We turned up at 10pm with our dog and baby for our pet friendly room and at the end of the check in the lady tries to make us sign something that says no pets... After we walked in with a dog... Anyway. She then charges over double the pet fee despite us showing her the price on the website. She explains we can get a refund on check out. Then we have to sign 3 more pages and mess around with cards. Check in takes 25 minutes. We get in and unpack everything, set up our pack and play and get the baby to sleep and then the power starts flickering and goes out. We explain to check out and we have to move to a new room. It's after midnight by the time we move so much stuff over (here for 3 nights). No time to unwind and relax after driving for so long. Lay for hours and hours unable to fall asleep and wake up often because the bed sucks. The pillows are so lumpy, balled up, and flat they feel like rope in a pillowcase and 3 air thin sheets that lightly touch you in spots which feels weird. Not comfy at all. AC sucks. All this to be woken up at 6 am because every time someone takes a step in the room above us, the entire ceiling cracks and creaks like it's a fricking haunted mansion. After lying in bed exhausted listening to this for 40 minutes straight we bring this to the desks attention and they say they'll call the person and tell them to stop. Stop what, walking? Bro. Needs to be bulldozed, and just have a patch of grass here instead for dogs to crap on.

You can hear everything from the hallways, was woken up several times between 5am-8am from people walking by my room talking and doors from other rooms opening and closing. Also sofa bed is horribly uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Langley and were very impressed with the hotel overall. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. We also appreciated how professionally the staff handled a minor issue with our first room — there was a smoke odor, and when we brought it to their attention, they immediately apologized and moved us to another room without hesitation. Their response was excellent. The only suggestion I would make for improvement is regarding the pool and hot tub area. We would love to see the hotel consider introducing an adults-only swim time for an hour or two later in the evening. The hotel does a great job being family-friendly, and as a parent myself, I completely understand the importance of providing amenities for families. However, adult guests are also looking for a place to relax and unwind after a long day. During our stay, the pool and hot tub were very active with young children, right into the late hours of the evening, which made it impossible to enjoy a quiet, relaxing experience. A short adults-only period in the evening would be a great compromise — allowing families to enjoy the facilities throughout most of the day while giving adult guests an opportunity to relax in a quieter environment. Aside from that one suggestion, we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the Best Western Langley. The excellent staff, cleanliness, and overall service made it a very positive experience, and we would gladly return.
