  We used it as a stopover organised by The Rocky Mountaineer train company. Hotel was very good, clean, comfortable room and bed with everything you need.

  This hotel is nice and the staff are really good too! But the reason for the 4 star is because I originally booked for 3 nights but they only booked me in for one? But lucky me I booked another hotel close by but still not something I like overall pretty good just make sure the hotel books you in for you proper staying time

  As a long-time IHG Diamond and Platinum Elite member, I’ve stayed at many IHG properties around the world, but this was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had. I booked two consecutive reservations (25–26 July and 26–27 July) and stayed in the same room throughout. Instead of linking the bookings, the front desk required me to: * Return the next day just to reactivate my room key. * Register my vehicle licence plate again for the second night. * Present my credit card again for the second reservation. I’ve never encountered this at any other IHG hotel. These should have been handled seamlessly as one continuous stay. The situation became worse when my credit card was charged before I had even checked out. I had already informed the front desk that I intended to use my IHG Food & Beverage Reward to pay for my restaurant bill, but the charge was processed anyway. When I asked for assistance, the staff member was unable to resolve the issue and simply told me to speak to the manager the following day. What disappointed me most was the attitude. Rather than trying to help, the staff walked away from the conversation. Even more surprisingly, I was told that if I wasn’t happy staying that night, they could simply refund my room—as if asking me to leave was an acceptable solution. Mistakes can happen, but poor customer service and a lack of ownership are much harder to accept. This stay fell well below the standards I have come to expect from the IHG brand. I hope the hotel management reviews its front desk procedures and provides better training so future guests do not experience the same issues.

  Loved our stay at this Holiday Inn. We liked the pool and hot tub! The only part we noticed was the noise from the street (motorcycle, cars etc.) Kept us awake till the city calmed down. Service was so friendly and accommodating!
