  Don't let the exterior fool you, this hotel is actually a really good property. Check in was a breeze with friendly helpful staff. The pool was quite cool, but after adjusting to it, it was fine. The sauna worked well when we were here. But the highlight was the room. Very clean and quite comfortable. We didn't make it to breakfast the next morning so unable to speak to that.

  Extremely overpriced for a very outdated hotel. This actually looks like a motel. The exterior and interior of the hotel is very outdated and desperately needs renovation. The room is actually Ok, good size and clean. The worst part was the front desk lady that checked us in. She was almost rude, acting like she was doing us a favour. She left a bad taste in my mouth from the start. The hotel is per friendly and I added the note in the reservation that I was bringing a pet. The rude lady kept asking if I advised the hotel about the pet. Yet the hotel charged the pet fee twice. Not very per friendly I guess. I need to mention Eli, who checked us out and he was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very Ok. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

  A great, affordable place to stop in Golden. Rooms were clean, the pool and sauna were awesome and breakfast was delicious. Location is perfect. It’s right off the highway but you don’t hear any traffic, and the views of the mountains are cool. Shout out to Darwin at the front desk for all of his help in making our stay very enjoyable. 10/10 will be back next time we roll through Golden!

  Stopped here 2x on my trip and I love that. For one night stay it is perfect, clean and breakfast included. Swimming pool and sauna are great to use and relax in after drive trough the mountains. Recommend it.

  Rooms: 4/5, breakfast staff:0/5 As soon as breakfast service ended at 9:30 am, the staff began removing food from in front of guests who were still waiting in line. Cutlery and crockery was being slammed cleared away loudly, and even the coffee creamers were removed while the gueats were getting coffee. The kitchen staff, particularly one lady, appeared visibly frustrated with guests for no apparent reason. What was most disappointing was seeing perfectly good hot food taken away while guests were still standing with empty plates looking for something to eat - at 9:31. This occurred on the morning of June 18, 2026. We did not feel welcome, and the kitchen staff came across as cold and unfriendly. Although the rooms were clean and otherwise satisfactory, the breakfast experience significantly affected our overall impression of the property. In fact, even before 9:30 a.m., staff had stopped replenishing plates, utensils, and serving items, and seemed annoyed when guests politely asked for a plate or spoon. Unfortunately, this experience overshadowed what could have been an otherwise pleasant stay.
