No free WIFI, need to sign up for account, that means selling my data for WIFI when paying 200$ a night. Not cool. Rest was okay

Online says rooms 133. Get to the counter. They want 250. Great advertising.

I would have given a full board 5 stars which I thought i did the first time there Apparently I never made the review the first time This time i should give 1 star instead because the service sucked I paid over $200 not including the $50 deposit I paid it because 1) across the street is the west coast amusement garbage 2) they have a pool 3) none of them harassed my child and I when we were there unlike other hotel dumps Pros: 1) They had 2 beds thankfully unlike last time 2) Close to the fair 3) breakfast included Cons????$$$ 1) It costs $7 to take my child to the public pool to have objects thrown at my childs head This time i paid over $200 not including the extra $50 deposit 2) They had bandaids all over the place 3) the pool??? I fished out about 5 towels and about the same in bandages 4) they threw a football all through the pool room all throughout the pool to the hot tub up to the slide and down again…. The front desk i called and never answered and as i walked out??? I saw him standing there watching the kids go through the slide 3 at a time/head first/on their stomachs Objects thrown at multiple customers also paying over $200 a night And did absolutely nothing to enforce the pool rules Did nothing to enforce the rules of the slide I asked whats going on here??? Do yall not enforce the health and safety rules/protocols of the building??? Apologized and kept sitting there not enforcing the rules of anything Allowed them to keep playing dangerously Clearly if your at the counter apologizing and acknowledging that you saw them do everything that’s deemed illegal/inappropriate for the hotel???? Your not doing your job talking to the kids or the parents/adults 5) went back to the fair because they are dangerous and got back to food bath and bed Pulled the blanket back and a dead ant on the pillow with the blanket laying on it 6) theres marks on the walls 7) Sat there at 11:30pm eating food and watching the tv with the volume low to not bother anybody Top floor and bottom floor blasting music and tv Right outside the room in the hallway kids yelling and running because its not on the first floor by the front desk 8) no pancakes lol Was looking forward to them lol I guess the first time we went there it was at Christmas/new year’s Quiet and beautiful peaceful No bandages No messes No kids hurting others and reckless employees not caring The guy in the morning is nice in which is the only reason I bit my tongue and left him alone If it wasn’t for the fact that this morning was a decent enough time swimming I wouldn’t be back there Each other hotel I’ve been to have all had bandages in the pool I hope things change From the reviews it doesn’t seem like it will get better Again As said If your to my face apologizing?? Your clearly not doing your job making sure the health and safety is upheld Stop apologizing and just make sure no more foot balls No more baseballs Beach balls are bad enough and can still hurt children and leave bruises and even more?? Loss of teeth Perforated ear drum's Black eyes and other eye damage that can very well be permanent Around $300 a night as i still have no $50 back??? It should be alot safer than a free day at the public pool

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The hotel is gross, to put it frankly. It is outdated compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses and looks like it is from the early 2000s with no renovations compared to other properties. There is wallpaper peeling in many areas, and when we stayed in one of the 4th floor rooms, the corners of the ceiling is lifting, leaving a massive gap. There are also many water stains. Ownership should care more about guest satisfaction and less about filling their pockets. The pool is disgusting, with a thick scum stain around the rim. There is also only 1 working ice machine on the main floor. My family has stayed here a few times over the past few years and it has taken a considerable shift downwards in the past 18 months.

The rooms at this hotel are very big, but it's not very good value considering this is a remote town. The rooms were mostly clean, but there were streaks on most of our pillows and even towels. Front desk staff are friendly. The breakfast is basic and wasn't always very well prepared. Location is good - short walk to grocery store and some restaurants.
