  The staff were courteous, but unfortunately not knowledgeable or helpful. At check-in, they were unable to explain the charges being applied to my account. During my stay, two additional charges were processed on my credit card without my authorization, and after I had already checked out, another charge was attempted. As a result, I have paid more than the total cost of the two rooms I booked while attending a funeral. I was later informed that the charges had "disappeared" and was advised to contact my credit card company to resolve the issue. This experience was extremely concerning and left me questioning the hotel's billing practices. I also requested that the manager contact me after waiting two days without receiving a refund. I was told she was sick and unable to return my call. After waiting another five days, I called back only to be told she was now on vacation. At no point did anyone proactively follow up or offer a resolution. The hotel's location is also much farther from town than expected. In addition, the rooms were not clean, and after speaking with three different staff members, it appeared that no one was able to assist with anything beyond processing payments and having guests complete a vehicle parking form. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The lack of transparency with billing, poor communication, and inadequate customer service overshadowed my stay.

  Great place to stay in Dawson Creek! Rooms and hallways are cleaned regularly, and housekeeping is done daily, unlike many other hotels. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast is good. Vanessa helped me make a reservation on short notice. Once we arrived, there was a mix up with our reservation, but Gracelyn kindly fixed it quickly and we were very happy with our stay. Thank you Best Western Dawson Creek!

  I travel regularly for my job and this hotel is a cut above so many I’ve stayed at. Clean rooms, convenient location and the service is exemplary. I wish to mention one person in particular. Her name is Sharon and she’s in charge of the breakfast area. What a wonderful person she is and she went the “extra mile” for me when I mentioned they were out of orange juice. She takes pride in her duties here and it shows. The breakfast area is always spotless, the food fresh and Sharon always in a friendly, helpful and uplifting mood. I wish more of the places I stayed had a Sharon. Hats off to the ownership for hiring amazing staff that made a great impact on my visit here. I highly recommend this place if you’re going to stay in Dawson Creek. It doesn’t get any better.
