  You can never go wrong with a Holiday Inn (IHG) property, and this was no exception. An extremely clean and modern property withing a close proximity to the Comox Airport. The rooms were huge and the beds were comfortable. This was a welcome place to stay after and extremely long day of work and travel.

  Had a great stay here. Fully equipped fitness room, although the TV was not working at the time. Clean room and friendly staff. Laundry machine was dirty though. Would stay here again.

  Great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, quiet and a great breakfast. We have stayed here several times now having flights in and out of Comox. The only thing that could make it better, would be a airport shuttle with long term parking at the hotel. As Comox airport expands its destinations, it might be worthwhile for the hotel to offer this.

  From the time we checked in and until we left, everyone working there made you feel very welcomed and were always extremely friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. They offered coupons for local restaurants, coffee shops and other Holiday Inn locations on the island. It was a very well run Holiday Inn. You can see it in the cleanliness and the safety measures they had in place. Parking was not an issue. It was one of the best Holiday Inns that we have ever stayed at.

  Im usually super critical when i review a hotel but..... What a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Courtenay! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how new, clean, organized, and friendly everything was. The entire staff was incredible and genuinely made me feel welcome. A special shoutout goes to Yui at the front desk. She is the main reason I'm leaving this 5-star review. She was super nice, cordial, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond. After I got settled in my room, she even called to make sure everything was okay. She's bubbly, warm, and just an all-around wonderful person. I later found out that Yui is the manager, and it absolutely shows. She runs a tight team and has clearly built a culture of excellent customer service. The late-night staff were fantastic, and the staff the next morning at checkout couldn't have been nicer either. Throughout my stay, I genuinely felt taken care of. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast. I had pretty low expectations, but it was absolutely satisfactory. Nothing fancy, just exactly what I needed to start my day. They even provided a food voucher for a restaurant down the street, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, this was just a wonderful experience, and a big thank you goes to Yui and her team. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Courtenay!
