  Excellent hotel! The breakfast was spot on, and the inclusive parking was a huge plus with plenty of available spaces. The location is great and the rooms are impressively quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel over others in Victoria for a wonderful lodging experience. Everything was clean and tidy, and the rooms are well-equipped with a microwave, fridge, and all the necessary essentials.

  Soooo I'm a Diamond Elite membership which is the highest level you can be... And I booked this hotel with the points I had... Which was quite a bit of points... I arrive at the hotel and the lady at the desk is like I need your ID and credit card so I hand her my debit card because I don't own a credit card... And she says oh well if it's a debit card then we have to put a hold on your card for $250 And I'm like ummm I've never had that happen before... Usually it's only 100 max and she's like yeah for credit cards it's that but debit cards it's 250... And I'm like forget it then... Felt this whole situation was handled very poorly.

  We've stated here before, clean rooms, great parking. A bit wierd to figure out, but already had a shot close to the elevator. The breakfast here is awesome. It's ready at 6:30 to 9:30 full breakfast menu, sausages or bacon, hash Browns , beans, yogurt, pancakes, toast, juices, coffee, milk, cereal, hard boiled eggs, bagels. But I never made it all the way through the offerings. Scrambled eggs. Beans, sausages, hash Brown's & cranberry juice and I was happy, topped off with a good coffee, and I wss happy. The rooms are clean, I think newly renovated, a safe, fridge, kuerig coffee pot, a really nice shower head, shampoo, cream rinse, body wash with built in pumps in the shower stall, and hand way and body lotion by the sink. Shaver plug on as well. Tons of places to plug in USB charging. A closet to hang up clothes and drawers for other things. Over all a nice stay as we were there for 5 nights

  Me and a group of my friends spent two nights at room 216 at this hotel for a school band trip consisting of over 100 students ranging throughout grade 9-10. For a fun movie night idea, we all agreed to watch the series ‘Bloodhound’ on Netflix on the hotel TV. Due to some unknown frustration, one of my friends had the bright idea to throw a pillow at the TV. Obviously, things went south, so we called the front desk for assistance to help reconnect the TV. We met with Emmanuel, who was super considerate and was able to reconnect it in 5 seconds after we tried to connect it for 10 straight minutes. Looking back, I am extremely impressed with Emmanuel’s reaction to the situation, as he was under a large amount of pressure since there was an ongoing phone call in the background with lots of unhelpful comments. In summary, I think I speak for our whole room when I say we are extremely satisfied with the performance of this hotel!

  Emmanuel at the front desk at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Victoria really made our stay way better. Our TV wasn’t working, and it was a pretty frustrating moment, but he came in calm and handled it quickly without making it a big deal. He spoke in a kind, reassuring way that just made everything feel less stressful, and even his firm handshake gave that sense that everything was under control. It wasn’t just that he fixed the issue—it was how he treated us the whole time. You can tell he actually cares about guests and takes pride in what he does. Honestly, someone like Emmanuel deserves more than just a “good job”—he should be seriously considered for a promotion and a raise for going above and beyond. This is genuinely the place to go just because of the level of service he provides.
