  We had a very pleasant stay here last month. The staff was very accommodating and went above and beyond when we asked for help with a couple of requests. The location was convenient, the breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. We stayed on the main floor and loved that the room had no carpet and we were able to park right outside the room which made taking things from the truck to the room and back so easy! We didn’t bring our pets this time but really liked that they had the option for a pet room too. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!

  Filthy. Stinky. Moldy. No towels. Filthy coffee maker. Just no. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. If I could give no stars I would. They put zero effort into up keep and cleanliness. Check for bed bugs. Seriously.

  We've been coming to the Sure Stay by Best Western in Castlegar for 5 years, but this year's experience was top notch. We come to Canada every year for Shambhala Music Festival, and always get a room here the night before the festival, and the night after. This year, we showed up at 11 pm, and realized we booked a room for the wrong night. We were totally screwed as every hotel in the area was booked. The front desk attendant AK recognized us from years prior, and he did everything he possibly could to get us a room. He ended up finding us a room that they don't usually rent out because it has a meeting board room attached, and it totally saved us!! He was so kind and the fact that he recognized us meant so much to us because he probably sees hundreds of people a week. We already loved the Sure Stay but now we will never go anywhere else. Thank you AK!!! You are the best!! See you next year!

  Had a great stay at the SureStay by Best Western in Castlegar. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, which made a real difference after a long day of travel. Special thanks to Saudia Stephenson at the front desk — her professionalism and customer care stood out. She went the extra mile to help reserve a taxi for us, which took a lot of stress out of getting around. The hotel was also very accommodating with luggage storage, and having an in-house washing machine was a huge convenience. Overall a well-run property with a staff member who clearly cares about guest experience. Would recommend to anyone passing through Castlegar.

  We stayed at the SureStay in Castlegar during our family vacation. All the staff was very friendly, and I'm not sure who the lady was that was working the breakfast, but she was amazing! She made sure everything was topped up and was very pleasant to interact with. The breakfast was also very good! We've stayed at many hotels where meals are just something the hotel does, but you could tell they put extra care into making sure their options were quality here, and it's really appreciated when you're on the road and might not always have good options at every stop. Thank you!
