  We stayed here 1 night to break up a long drive recently. The check in was easy and the staff was very friendly and professional. Our room on the 2nd floor was nice… clean and large. With a small kitchen type counter with a sink where the coffee maker was. Large bathroom with shampoo, soap and conditioner. Free breakfast starts at 6am. There is a small “store” by the front desk for snacks. The room are not very sound proof, we could hear I15 noise, along with the room above us walking around. Other than that, the beds are comfy, the staff is great… a good Best Western while traveling.

  Great hotel !! the staff is awesome and very hospitable . We travel weekly here for work and we won’t stay anywhere else after staying here and seeing how helpful a hotel staff could be . I wish all hotels were ran this way

  I’ve been staying at the Best Western Plus New Barstow Inn & Suites for over a year now due to a work contract assignment, and I can confidently say this location has been consistently excellent. The staff is always helpful, professional, and accommodating — especially Nathan and Josie. They go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly during my stays. Any time I’ve had a question, concern, or request, they’ve handled it quickly and respectfully. That level of reliability makes a big difference when you’re staying somewhere long-term for work. The rooms are always tidy and well-maintained. You can tell the floors are freshly mopped — they literally squeak when you walk on them. Everything feels clean, organized, and taken care of. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the rooms comfortable and consistent. Overall, this location has been convenient, dependable, and welcoming for over a year now. I truly appreciate the staff and the effort they put into maintaining a clean and professional environment. Highly recommend this location if you’re staying in Barstow P.S, The staff and management even know me by a first name basis 👍

  2/23/26 Editing my initial post to address Management’s reply that I have the wrong location. That is impossible since I took the photos and posted the review WHILE STANDING IN ROOM #104. Maybe a more professional response other than pointing fingers at your customers would warrant a better review. Clearly this is a leadership issue, poor management at this location. *** Convenient but really dirty location. Hair on the mattress, hair on the ceiling (how?!), holes in all the walls and again on the ceiling, “artwork” being held together with duct tape and falling apart. Marks on all the curtains, lamp doesn’t work, surfaces dusty. Had to beg for a first floor room at check in when I phoned in advance of booking and was told not a problem. Was placed across from housekeeping’s linen room. You guys know where your guests are in what rooms! That volume of noise from staff is totally unacceptable. We left early. Not sure where the rest of these positive reviews are from. Skip this place. $40 maybe, we paid $90 and it was not worth the cost and missed sleep.

  Desk staff check-in was pleasant and we were given an upgraded room (rm 117). And while it was spacious with an extra seating/living area there were many issues that are not what we would expect from a BW Plus hotel. Cleanliness: water bottle and crumbs next to heater (see pic). The Bathroom vent is clogged with dust and lint (see pic), this could be easily resolved with vacuum. Also, Body Wash empty. And the bathroom vanity mirror would not light up. (We inquired about this but staff said it wasn’t really suppose to light up but I don’t believe that is true. We have had the same toe of mirror at other Best Western hotels and they do indeed light). Metal bedframe squeaked terribly just sitting down upon it and with every slight movement so we put a towel between post and frame; problem solved for the night but still needs to be fixed. The Top of headboard filthy with dust. We reported these things to the front desk in checkout. Room 117 is adjacent to pool and hot tub; they are right outside of the window. You can hear conversations of all of the guests who use those amenities. The positives: Parking area is well lit which is much appreciated. And the hotel is located near many good and shopping choices.
