  I was disappointed with my recent stay. Cleanliness was clearly an issue—floors throughout the property looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in some time and could really use a thorough steam mop. The overall impression was that basic upkeep is being neglected. Breakfast was another letdown. Several items ran out and were never replenished, which made it feel like the hotel was cutting corners rather than providing the service guests expect. Service and presentation also fell short. Staff were not dressed professionally, which added to the sense that standards aren’t being maintained. Housekeeping was inconsistent as well—my room was not refreshed as expected, and I had to ask twice before anything was addressed. In the meantime, I ended up emptying the bins myself and placing them outside the room along with the used towels. Another noticeable change is that the beds are no longer remade during housekeeping service, which used to be standard in the past. That’s something most guests reasonably expect at a hotel—especially when they’re on vacation and paying for a comfortable, fully serviced stay. Overall, the stay felt disorganized and below the level of cleanliness and service I would expect. With better attention to housekeeping, breakfast management, and staff presentation, the guest experience could improve significantly. In my opinion, it doesn’t deserve a star at all.

  Miserable experience. I arrived to check in and the first room they checked me into was unacceptable. The manager agreed and offered me a different room..... Let's just say that it was been worse.... I did not feel safe here. They left me with an option to pick one of the rooms or not.... They would not refund because I had not booked the room with IHG directly..... In the morning, I recanted the story and two from desk staff said, "I don't understand the problem!" Training was 100% absent.... One more note: as I checked out I noticed the maintenance staff with a cart. They seemed to have a long list of things to accomplish. Maybe this is just their norm. This property is 100% not an IHG experience. Maybe they should re-lable to a brand name that reflects their service level.

  Because I checked in late, I applied for the member late checkout. However, after 11 a.m., I was repeatedly disturbed by knocking on the door and phone calls, which woke me up and prevented me from getting proper rest. I was a bit disappointed.

  We are from another state and when we come to visit family this is hotel we stay at. We have enjoyed our stays in the past but this Christmas stay made us change our minds about staying here again. There is a large shopping outlet near by and we had a fun day of buying miscellaneous items. We returned to our room to drop them off to go out for the remainder of the day. When we returned, our bags with the items in them were gone, nothing else was touched. We went to the lobby to speak to the manager and were told to wait until the next morning as they would be in by 9 am. Well the next morning came. We waited. It was nine, ten, then eleven. The manager did not show up and our requests to be refunded were denied. Ultimately it was a he say she say. The guest’s word against the house cleaners word. We were told there was nothing more to be said. I am highly disappointed with how Holiday Inn decided to handle this situation.
