The most affordable Hilton in Bakersfield. The rooms are clean and everything inside is what you would expect from Hilton.
However like many parts of bakersfield, the first night we stayed there, there was a guy with a cart who appeared homeless but was selling drugs right outside the window. I was a little worried about the car but there was no incident and they had security guards out in the parking lot at night.

At first, I was skeptical about this hotel because of the mixed reviews. However, I’m glad I stayed here, as I had a decent experience overall. I booked a king-size room, and everything looked new and clean, although I did notice some spiderwebs in the corner of the air conditioner while unpacking. The bed was comfortable and soft. My only real complaints were the flickering lights in the room—both the standing lamp and the bedside lamp flickered when turned on—and the noise from upstairs, as you could clearly hear people walking around. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs.
The complimentary breakfast is basic but covers the essentials: bagels, cereal, boiled eggs, and oatmeal. Don’t expect anything fancy. On the plus side, complimentary coffee and hot water with tea bags are available throughout the day. Overall, the stay was pretty decent.

The location is the main reason why I am never going to stay at this hotel again. I stayed in room 401. Apparently that is the side of the building facing the busy roads, intersection, and highway. The street noise - bass, revving, peeling away, loud mufflers, I could go on. It was constant until about midnight. Needless to say I did not sleep very well and woke up frequently. That is while using a white noise maker, too.
Parking isnt the most secure. It is right off the street and shared with a restaurant.
The bed was fine. The staff were friendly, and hellful. The room was spacious because I had a handicapped accessible one. There is coffee 24 hours which is a nice perk, and a small pantry with food you can purchase.
If you choose this hotel, request an even number room.
