  This is by far the worst, smelliest, most run down Hampton/Hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Outside and downstairs are renovated, but I guess they forgot the rooms? It smells like it used to be a smoking hotel 10 years ago. Stay somewhere else! You’ve been warned.

  1st off, I tip my hat to Michael. Tho he was shocked my boss filled out CC forms ASAP. Like within minutes. & I’m not going to state why this is my new favorite hotel in Bakersfield. Wasn’t the price, tho tiz was less expensive then the Holiday Inn Express (no ants & easy walking distance to convenience stores etc) as a female truck driver I truly appreciated their professional hospitality. & the hot hot water. Company whom I’ve done numerous work for in Bakersfield (DayCabs to Tesla Semi’s, no studio sleeper’s, tho even sleeper trucks, I get a hotel.) I can’t say enough how very thankful I am for the love & Kindness I was given. As their guest I felt very respected. I have the most gratitude & respect. & housekeeping staff, thank you for keeping everything clean & up to Hilton Standards

  You can hear the train at night honk his horn but it wise this place rocks. Best night sleep in a while.

  Not bad only thing I would say is that management should be more focused. There was trash near entrance for a couple hrs. Also I am all for helping others but I don’t think it’s appropriate to let homeless person eat there in the mornings. This a Hilton hotel not a good look. Maybe take him food outside but don’t let him eat inside.

  Hotel rooms and suites needs some tender love and car like update carpets and bathtubs and just so it wont look rundown. Even tho its hampton suites, not all rooms are suites. I booked 2 rooms and got a suite and a room. Stay was ok but they felt like motel feels. As soon as you walk in the hotel, theres a fainted certain smell and feels like air quality inside was iffy - I dont have allergies nor sensitive nose - i was sneezing the entire stay. Breakfast starts 6am to 10am. The minute my husband and I walked in the breakfast room, at least 4 other guests were sneezing in all other areas of the room. It was weird. I've stayed at other pet friendly hilton properties before but it wasn't bad like this. Staff was ok, not too friendly like other reviews are saying but just plain ok for me. No staff interacted with us at all which was ok.
