I'm a longhaul trucker and my truck broke down and was at the dealership half a mile away, so my company put my here.
My first impression was that it was sooooooo nice. The lobby is beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, greeted me with big smiles etc.... I was originally going to give 4 stars after my experience with the laundry room (they are coin operated and one didnt work correctly, also they do not have an ATM for change, so you have to walk to the nearest gas station which isnt far, but that is a huge inconvenience. Also they have a non working vending machine in there, which is just weird), but then I had to lower my rating and here is why:
No tubs (just a personal preference, the shower is roomy and nice enough)
No ventilation at all in the bathroom, so you have to shower with the door open if you dont want it to get too hot (I was alone so didnt matter, but could matter to some)
The lighting in the room is very dim. It's nice and relaxing, but I could see how it could be an issue for people that have a hard time seeing in dim lighting.
My room had absolutely been smoked in, they need to take care of that because it's disgusting.
The bed. Omg the bed. This is probably one of the worst beds I have ever slept in, in my entire life (I am 46). It is hard, there is a big lump right in the middle so both sides slant to the side somewhat etc.... the comforter and pillows are nice, but I needed 3 pillows due to lack of support.
The coffee maker doesnt actually pour the coffee into the pot, you have to lift it up because the little bump on the lid doesnt actually push the thing in (i hope that made sense haha)
When I tried to heat water for tea in the coffee pot, it came out brown. I could have removed the thing you actually put the coffee in, I understand that in hindsight, but to me that just means they don't clean these things.
With all that being said, it is very dark in the room at night, the curtains are fantastic, it was quiet, they have a pool and a gym which was also nice. It is also walking distance to food options, nothing healthy, but you could get a salad at dennys or whatever haha.... I did not try the breakfast.
EDIT: updated to 3 stars because Michael is SO nice, so is Landon, and the maintenance guy that was helping fix my key card! Everything else was mostly personal preference, or easy fixes. The staff here is superb.
EDIT #2: I feel like it wasn't fair of me to mention they are doing some renovations here. Overall, this is definitely a nice hotel, but mostly because of the staff.
I just stayed over the weekend, and my experience was overall positive. I booked with this hotel because I have stayed at Hampton Inns in many cities, and the brand is pretty consistent & good.
I have trouble walking, and requested a ground floor room near the front desk, and they absolutely delivered. The room was clean & met my expectations.
I was having a problem with the thermostat, and there are no phones in the rooms, so I went to the front desk, and the clerk actually came to the room to look at the thermostat. The room eventually did warm up, but it was like cold air was blowing out of the vent, but there was bursts of warm air in it. I sat in my room in a jacket majority of the time I was in it, however, during the night, it suddenly got very hot. I had the same troubles with the temperature of the room the following day. I really appreciated the staff coming immediately to look at what was going on though. Once I went to bed, I realized the pillows are very thin & I was there alone, using all 4 pillows on the bed, and was barely elevated.
Those are my only 2 complaints - the thermostat & the pillows. But I plan to book again when I come back to the area in February, and will request extra pillows upon check in. The location is great freeway access & there are lots of nearby restaurants, which was very convenient

I reserved a different hotel for my mother and my 92-year-old grandmother on this particular day, but when they arrived, they found there was no room available on the first floor, and the elevator was out of service. Unable to get an Uber due to the short distance, I called this Hampton, and Chris answered right away. I asked if the hotel shuttle could pick them up, but instead of simply offering transportation, Chris went above and beyond.
He personally assisted my family himself, securing a wheelchair for my grandmother from the other location and helping my mother with their luggage as they checked in. Additionally, Chris arranged an Uber for their early 3:00 AM departure the next morning. This level of service is exactly what the Hilton brand is known for, and I am incredibly grateful for his kindness and professionalism.
Thank you, Chris, for making a stressful situation so much easier. You truly made a difference!

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times years before with great experience. This time, not so much. Welcoming hostess was welcoming, however I had to ask for water. Status was not recognized, which is what prompted me to ask for water.
Hallways for rooms smelled like a combination or urine and a stall bar. Room carpeting was “musty” and too gross to walk on with bare feet.
The use and age has grown on this hotel quickly. Travelers/airport hotel for sure. A quick one night stay may convince if your taking an early flight out.
