- BPBob PriceFeb 25, 20265.0What a delightful stay at the Hill House in downtown Bakersfield. Right in the heart of the city, it is next to a fabulous Mexican restaurant. The location also has a gate that makes you feel secure at night. But what was the truly amazing was the hotel concierge, Nancy. She truly went above and beyond in the performance of her duties. She dealt with a difficult customer before she waited on me and I had several 'minor' crises to deal with and she helped me through them with professionalism and grace. The room was a good size, clean and relaxing. Again, the highlight was the service! I highly recommend this hotel and please, give Nancy a raise!
