Elevator: broken. Wifi: broken. Heinously understaffed. But broken elevator is ridiculous and I keep running into hotels that don’t take it nearly as seriously as it legally should be taken. Had a staff member get indignant on me when I said there should be a sign saying it’s broken— she says there is a sign……. lol. With who’s eyes? A sign on every floor is customary when an elevator breaks down. Like, common sense.
Shoutout to the one woman working the front desk though because she’s very good at her job and holding it down even though she’s clearly doing the jobs of 2-3 people. Oh and their water dispenser is leaking all over the lobby with no wet floor sign. Tighten up! Jeez!

I was very hesitant about posting this review, but I think it’s important because my experience was not the same as most reviews.
First of all, the room did not resemble any of the pictures posted on the website. Our room, 105, was in bad condition and was filthy! The Murphy bed in the Living room had a big brownish-red stain on the bottom mattress sheet, the bathroom sink was clogged the entire two days we were there, the bedroom curtain was filthy with multiple stains all over, and the bathroom floor was dirty (we cleaned it with paper towels that turned black!).
The quality of the unit itself was questionable. We did not expect to have a full kitchen, so that was nice; however, it looked like the oven was from the 1970’s and would blow up if you turned it on! The floor in the kitchen and living room had missing patches. The barstools looked like outdoor metal chairs and one had severe rust on it! The bedroom had just a bed and two small nightstands (A television would have been nice. You can see the hookups for one, but nothing was there.).
I should have led off with this….but the unit had no towels! My husband had to go ask for towels and was only given body towels- no hand towels or wash clothes! It was not just our unit because I later saw a woman in a motorized wheelchair go to the office and ask for towels as well! Now if it is their policy to not furnish towels without a request, I think we should have been given a heads-up before later being caught off guard! I could go on with the various problems, but it would be overwhelming!
In all fairness, I think this property has a potential for greatness because of its layout, proximity to shops and restaurants, and friendly staff. However, they should really think about upgrading the facility and most importantly, providing a clean environment. The age of the room and furniture would have been no big deal if things were clean and unsoiled! Perhaps the other units are in better shape, but our unit was a disaster!

I’m currently planning a trip and have called a couple of times for information, and both experiences have been amazing.
Today, I called to confirm my reservation and ask a few more questions, and Alexia was so sweet and kind. She took her time with me, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed.
It’s such a great feeling to speak with someone who genuinely cares and is so helpful. I’m really looking forward to my stay!

"I had an amazing time while staying here. My room was clean and inviting. I was also able to check my room before actually checking in and I cannot speak for anyone else's experience but I had the best! Staff were awesome and friendly and room service/ housekeeping made sure that I was accommodated with anything that I needed. I also had an amazing view from my bedroom window. Thanks Seaport village inn for making my first time to your Island memorable! I will definitely be coming back here!"

Stayed in room 512 recently on a family vacation and was shocked how bad this room was. Most of the furniture is damaged, the kitchen was largely unusable because there were no pots, pans, plates, flatware, cups, etc. Nothing. The bathroom though was easily the worst part, there is extensive water and mold damage everywhere. See attached pictures. The water was also turned off for the majority of both days we were staying there, which looking at other reviews, does not seem to be uncommon. I really can't understand how this room is still being rented. This is easily the worst hotel room I have stayed in. Spend a little more, and go somewhere nicer, you will be glad you did.
