We had to call corporate and they fix it and was nice. Area was good because stores and restaurants just across the street and the freeway. Breakfast was so good because Renee was the best. Thank you Renee. Bathroom just needs more cleaning.

Breakfast area was immaculate and food options rotated from day to day with a nice selection of hot dishes along with other breakfast staples (including granola/snack bars). We loved the afternoon cookies that staff put out for guests. Hot tub/pool area is great as the half enclosed/half open air keeps the air fresh. Room was spacious and comfortable. Shower/toilet area is a little dated, but the rest of the room was well kept. Housekeeping is only provided by request.

After 5 minutes, a girl came and asked if I was checking in. I said yes. She said I need your id. When I handed it to her, she moved over to a different spot and said I needed to bring it there. I thought it was pretty rude. She didn’t provide any information about the breakfast or anything else. I asked if there was a paper with information and there wasn’t. She had been carrying bottles of water and at most Best Westerns reward members get water and a gift bag. I asked if I got water and she said I wasn’t a platinum member. Maybe she needs some training. Even though the service was poor, the room was good.

Our room was clean and everything worked as expected. The breakfast is seriously some of the better hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. It’s in a small town but is close to several beautiful hiking spots and beaches. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay while exploring everything the redwoods has to offer!
