  Stayed multiple nights in multiple rooms over the last 12 months. I'm keep coming back for its cleanness, convenience and best price IHG hotel in LA.

  It's certainly an older hotel with signs of age. But we had a newer walk in shower and beds were decent enough. Light sleepers should avoid rooms near elevators as tile floors and suitcases may wake you. But its a hotel, any number of 1,000 things could wake you.

  I booked a room with a roll-in shower. When I got to the hotel I double checked TWICE with staff to ensure it was the correct room type. The girl looked at me like I was dumb and said yes and charged my card. It was NOT the correct room. This began a 4+ hour long inconvenience. I go tell them they gave me the wrong room and the correct one is needed because that is what I paid for and they proceed to ask why I need the roll-in shower. They tell me there is not rooms available and proceed to as again. They tell me there’s no other rooms and that the only other one is a king bed but that it wasn’t ready yet. That it wouldn’t be ready for another 2 hours. I said that’s fine and they looked at me weird because I was fine sharing a bed with my brother and they were still not wanting to correct their mistake. They basically said we are not allowed to wait in their large lobby for the room til it’s ready and to get a hotel room elsewhere or they can put a shower chair in the current room which wouldn’t solve the issue for my brothers disability. They were unreasonable and wouldn’t allow me to wait for the room I already paid for until I said they need to give me an immediate full refund or allow us to wait for the room. The manager then purposely mixed what I said. fridge & microwave don’t work. When we came back at the time it was supposed to be ready manager says they’re gonna start to clean right now. Took an EXTRA 1 - 1.5 hr for them to clean it. Was Promised a discount for the inconvenience and I didn’t get it as expected. Luckily our plans were down the street. I got there at 2:50pm and we didn’t get into the room until 7:10pm. Plus the room key didn’t work and was constantly needing to be taken to the front desk. Multiple people kept going to the front desk for issues with housekeeping or room key not working. The maintenance man was very nice and apologetic for the inconvenience.

  This an older facility that has been transitioned from another brand. The rooms are clean and decored in the traditional HIX style. Staff was great and friendly. The location worked well for me.
