There is significantly less animatronics compared to what there used to be. I noticed they got lazy with it and over used TV screens for animations. There is a major lack of plants and shrubbery for being called a "bayou". No catchy music. This was over all boring and terrible. I was actually excited about the reimagination of this ride. I love the movie. This ride didn't do the movie justice. Tiana looked terrible. The animatronics are all awkward and repetitive. The original splash mountain was way more exciting in comparison to this disaster of a ride. Who was in charge of re-designing this ride? This was so cheaply made and lame. It only makes me miss the original splash mountain. This ride was a major let down. I know many other people that feel the same ):

As you ascend the big drop, Mama Odi says “I hope you had fun getting shrunk” like when did that happen? No where else in the ride does it mention getting shrunk down. Also whoever designed Tiana did her dirty. Her face throughout the whole ride reminded me of a middle schooler talking to her crush. She looked so awkward. Also don’t bother with a poncho. My mom and I didn’t wear one but the other people in our log did and the only places my mom and I got wet were our elbows down and our knees down. Places a poncho wouldn’t cover anyway. The fact I LOVED Splash and rode this ride for the feeling of the track again, this was a let down.
