I feel like the amount of scenes is far less than what it was. That's the say that there seems to be a lot more empty space. - KBKidmin BFeb 17, 20263.0I love Princess and the Frog, so I was excited to see how they re-themed the ride. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. They were very lazy in their approach. I wish they just let the movie's storyline play out in the ride instead of this strange "we need to find musicians" plot that gave them an excuse to reuse animatronics/characters that have nothing to do with Princess and the Frog. That said, the ride is still fun if you ignore all that. Especially on a hot day, because you will get completely drenched.

- ADAmore DeFonsoJan 29, 20261.0Here, the only thing that drops… are your expectations. Setting aside Splash Mountain and the criticisms of its source material, this re-theme is a missed opportunity for WDI. The animatronics look good, but they don't even function most of the time. The ride itself broke down twice while waiting in line. The single rider queue didn't even offer any outdoor fans in the 95 degree weather. While I enjoyed the ride's version of "Dig a Little Deeper," the actual visuals are lacking with too much empty space between many of the scenes. The finale song and "moral" are painfully cheesy (the secret ingredient was YOU all along!) with hasty screens in the background. I guess Disney just doesn't care about maintenance as much as they used to despite the rising costs of park tickets. Disney has done re-themes right before, and I felt they could have come up with something much better if this hadn't felt so rushed.
