We had a great experience staying at Pixar Hotel with our family. It was truly a special and memorable trip for us. We stayed on the 10th floor and the view overlooking Disney California was amazing — definitely worth it.
The only downsides were the $45 parking fee (especially since we have annual passes) and the elevator service. At one point, we waited about 25 minutes just to go down, which was frustrating.
Other than that, we were very satisfied. The atmosphere and family experience made it a great stay overall.

I have stayed at the other Disney hotels around Anaheim and this one is by far the best. Disneyland Hotel now fees very dated and old and Grand cal is just not worth the money. The rooms are fantastic and the views are great if you get a park view. One of the other major draw backs with the other 2 Disney hotels is how far the parking is from the hotel. This is the only hotel that has a dedicated parking garage connected to the Hotel. I was done with Disney hotels but this one is one I could see myself staying at again.

We had a great experience staying at this resort! We stayed from 1/26 to 1/30. The room we got overlooked California Adventure so I believe we got a little extra pixie dust with that. Really stunning view of the park and sunrise. Food was great here and there are a couple of options. Everything was super clean and staff were fantastic. Only issue was the elevators, like others have stated. The system is a little odd and can result in waiting a bit for a free elevator. Luckily, we noticed a cast member by the elevators regularly to explain and help people navigate them. This hotel is also only about a 5 minute walk away from the entrance to Downtown Disney which connects to the parks. Super convenient location and I feel it was worth the price point.

The staff is awesome they will do what they can to accommodate you. I'm in a wheelchair and had no more assable rooms, they help to put get a shower chair for me. The room was spacious enough for my wheelchair so was happy with it. The view was pretty too. My sister and I had no complaints. Housekeeping was friendly and came every day. If they were in the hallway and saw you come out of your room they'd ask you if you needed anything extra. You got clean towels every day. Room cleaned everyday. They even did cute things with our disney ears or stuffies. I would definitely go back again. I would love to give a shout out to April one of the cast members who works at the front desk. She was amazing at her job and went out of her to really be there for us💕🫶👏

So the biggest downfall of this hotel is that the elevators are like being in a third world country. From 7am-9am-ish the elevators are packed. Plan on spending 30-40 min waiting for an elevator. Floor buttons on the outside but no buttons inside the elevator? You have to keep pushing buttons like its a fidget toy. These elevators stop at every floor going up and stops at every floor going down. If you are in a wheelchair or stroller goodluck you wont be making it.
I strolled through each disneyland hotel and thats the first thing I noticed. A line to use the elevator. This is the most pathetic thing ive seen.
If you know about the walkway from pixar place to CA adventure guess what? That accommodation has been revoked. No longer do pixar place guests get that accommodation.
For the first couple hours in the morning they need an elevator operator. This is a must but given profit margins and greed you have to deal with it yourself. Cast members know that this is the biggest constraint but nothing can be done.
No more early entry either. You get ONE lightening lane pass PER visit. NOT PER DAY ITS PER VISIT. 3 day stay equals 1 lightening lane accommodation per person per stay. Better than nothing but they scraping the bottom of the barrel.
If your renting a scooter Pixar Place only contracts with Scooter bug. Why? Because of greed and profits. Any other place you try to rent from will tell u that they can only do an exchange if you are at the lobby when they arrive. Scooterbug is ridiculously expensive compared to Anaheim Scooters. My mother in law cant walk and almost fell in the lobby.
For the amount being paid Pixar place is no more than a 2 star hotel with an enormous price tag.
Goodluck if your staying here. Patience is virtue cause the cast members really dont do anything to accomodate.
Disneyland is not that handicap accessible and workers dont care if you have to hop on a ride.
