  This is one of Fantasyland's OG rides, and it's still a personal favorite. It's as old school as it gets, with dated, painted wooded cutouts and an abbreviated retelling of the Disney animated classic, "Pinocchio." This is a Disneyland original (not like the re-done Pinocchio in Florida that is now a roller coaster). You board a 4 person vehicle and basically ride through the movie, from Gepetto's puppet workshop to the bad boy temptations on Pleasure Island to getting eaten alive by Monstro the whale! Yes, this ride can scare sensitive little ones, especially when the whale pops out at the end. Pleasure Island may be scary for young kids, but it sure looks fun for us adults, LOL! The ending is happy, with an appearance from the Blue Fairy. And Jiminy Cricket follows along on your journey, giving lots of sage advice along the way. This isn't one of the best attractions in Disneyland, but its appeal lies in how it hasn't changed much at all over the years. Oh: and the line is usually quite short during the hour before park closing. Wait until then if you can, because this one isn't worth waiting more than 30 minutes for, in my opinion.

  I enjoyed it, but kids wouldn't. There was some scary scenes, lot of darkness and things jumping out. It wouldve ruined the trip for me as a kid.
