The "back side of water" never gets old. The Jungle Cruise is another favorite of mine and a classic ride at Disneyland. The cast members and skippers who work this ride have a lot of fun staying in character. They really set the mood with the cringy, yet funny puns and "dad" jokes. The river adventure tour takes about 10 minutes, and it's a nice, chill ride. The animatronics and animals are always fun to see. The night ride is another treat, with the evening mood set and your senses heightened. During the holiday season, this ride gets a holiday overlay with festive decor throughout the jungle ride, aka Jingle Cruise. There are no single-rider lines, but there are Lightning Lane options. And as with most rides, the queue can get long, but it's definitely a must-ride for first-timers and jungle fans.

Always a family favorite. The jokes are as bad (good?) as ever, and they do a great job. The cue areas are pretty well designed and entertaining too.

The Jungle Cruise opened at Disneyland on July 17, 1955, as a more serious, educational attraction inspired by Walt Disney's True-Life Adventures and the movie The African Queen. Initially, it was intended to feature live animals, but this plan was abandoned for practical reasons after problems with live alligators. The ride evolved over time to become a comedy-focused attraction, with skippers adding their own jokes to the pre-written, yet adaptable, script.

A classic ride at the park, a fun flashback to pne of the very first rides at Disneyland. Still fun for the adults as we got the jokes from our navigator, our son didn't really catch on. The lines for this are pretty short, so that's a plus. I think the animatronics could use some updates, but overall the ride was fun.

The Jungle Cruise was a fun and relaxing ride. I liked it because it wasn’t anything too intense or major, but that’s what made it enjoyable. We got to sit back on the boat, float along, and just look around at everything while listening to the skipper. After walking for hours, my feet were sore and I was ready for a break. This ride gave me exactly that—a chance to sit, smile, and enjoy the silly jokes and the scenery without having to move around. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the experience memorable, and Jungle Cruise was definitely one of those moments for me. Disneyland is filled with high-energy attractions, but I really appreciated that Jungle Cruise had this laid-back pace. It made me laugh, helped me rest, and still gave me that Disney magic. It’s worth hopping on, especially if you need a breather from all the walking. Follow @joeypauga on TT, FB, YT, IG, LinkedIN and X
