We stayed at Hotel Lulu while traveling with two toddlers and a newborn. The location near Disneyland was very convenient, and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were also super duper friendly and welcoming, which we truly appreciated. The room itself was smaller than we thought, and if you’re traveling with strollers and baby gear, it’s going to be tight, especially in the walkways. The elevators are also on the smaller side and only fit one stroller at a time, which meant splitting up occasionally, but it was manageable. The room décor was simple and clean, though more plain than we expected. If you’re traveling with pack-and-plays or multiple strollers, you may want to consider a different hotel with more space. However, we think this hotel would be a fun and comfortable option for a couple or a smaller group. Overall, it was a good stay.

This is the first time staying at this hotel. We have stayed a various hotels during our trips to Disneyland. This hotel was good for the nightly price. It is going through some renovations which led to some hotel access issues from the parking lot, only one elevator working in the main lobby, and some areas blocked off by tarps.
The rooms were basic but clean. We found the beds to be comfortable and they were quiet. We have stayed at another property along Harbor Blvd where we could hear cars racing down Harbor all night long. Our room at Lulu faced the back with a view of the hotel parking lot which we didn’t mind as it was quiet.
The staff were nice and welcoming. They said hi every morning on our way out to Disneyland. The walk to Disney is about 10 minutes and is a safe walk along Harbor Blvd.
Overall, we found the hotel to be a great value. When we go to Disneyland, we don’t spend much time within the hotels and usually are just utilizing it for sleep.

BEWARE!!! The cleaning lady left our room door open so anybody could have come in to our room and taken all of our belongings. Front staff didn’t really care.
At the main entrance 1 operating elevator out of 2 for 8 floors. WHY?!?! Stop being cheap and fix your elevator or stop closing it down. There is no access to the other elevator that is by the back side of the hotel. Sheet stapled to the wall and something in front of it to block people from going to the other elevator.
We were told there is a back door to the parking lot but it’s on the far side but you can only go up the elevator to your floor. Very inconvenient. The area by the elevator is under renovations (I think), covered by a sheet.
No where on their website does it say they are under renovations.
The toilet was small. Shower was horrible. Shared shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap. 🤮
They offer snacks at a reasonable price.
Safe did not work.
We will not be staying here again. The price is not worth the stay.

Booked a room which I later had to cancel. Canceled well before the deadline. I received a partial refund with seven days but later noticed that I was being billed for over a thousand dollars for being a “No Show”. I have been on the phone all morning to resolve the problem but highly frustrated at the lack of talking to a real person who can explain why I was being charged even though I gave proper notification.

Look, normally I'd never bother going on here to write a review of a Best Western hotel, because who cares? However, some of the reviews I read before my trip almost led to me cancelling this reservation before I even got there and it wasn't until I read more on other websites that I was convinced to give it a shot.
It's a perfectly fine hotel. No bed bugs, no weird smells, comfortable enough beds, and a super friendly staff. I will note that I was just there to go to the parks, which means I don't spend a ton of time just hanging out in the room.
The only negative thing I experienced was that I wasn't happy with my hot water temperature after my first night. I mentioned it at the front desk on my way out the next morning and they had it taken care of by the time I got back and I was taking nice, hot soaks after each day in the park.
It took me about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the parks at my normal walking pace. The rest of my family was staying at a hotel right across the street from the park entrance and their room was INSANELY noisy. My room at Lulu was nice and quiet and I slept like a log each night.
Overall, perfectly fine place to stay to enjoy the parks.
