The location is the only good thing about this place. I travel for work and spend more time in hotels than I do my own house for a good 6-9 months of the year. I usually stay in a range of hotels from Motel 6 to Ritz Carlton and am able to set my standards respectively. This hotel has been utterly dissatisfying. The hallways have smelled of cigarettes our entire stay. The hallway that leads to the rear elevator from the main lobby is blocked off by a sheet of Sheetrock and a moving blanket stapled to the wall. You’ll have better luck winning the Powerball than finding a temperature for the shower that isn’t lava or glacier water. The floor in our room was mysteriously wet for some reason but it hadn’t rained yet so it’s not like the windows were leaking… The blankets were paper thin and it took calling the desk again on the second night to actually get a real blanket that was more than a flower embossed sheet. Our neighbors in the room next door fought all night which isn’t directly the hotel’s fault but the walls might as well be made of a single sheet of Sheetrock and a moving blanket like they used in the lobby because we heard all about their struggles while trying to get our kid to sleep. The location is the best part of this hotel. Being within walking distance to Disneyland is the only upside. There are plenty of other options that are within walking distance for a similar price though so this is the last time we’ll stay here.

Let me just start off by saying, I booked my room in July. My husband and I just got married and had been planning for this trip since July as this was our honeymoon. That’s 5 months. We arrived on the 16th of November and the first thing we notice is that the entry mat is completely filthy and the lobby has a terrible odor to it. We disregard because we had heard better things about the hotel from friends in the past and we head up to the entry door. We check in to the hotel and then the lady at the front desk tells us they “overbooked” when I had called the morning of our reservation to confirm that we were all good to go. They tried to offer us a double queen suite, on our honeymoon. But they wanted to charge us THE SAME PRICE as the king room. The employees did not seem to care, had no compassion or even try to fix the situation with how early we had booked this hotel. This is completely ridiculous. Yes this hotel is close to the park which is a plus, but that seems to be the only plus. Just because you have decor of Mickey in your lobby and “clean interiors” doesn’t make you a great hotel AT ALL. DO NOT BOOK HERE. They may just give away your room if you book 5 months in advance or even earlier.

When I visited this place they said Water will be shut for five days while I am staying there lol I was planning to come back to my hotel from Disney and shower mid-day and stuff.. omg.. are you serious? they never informed me before the reservation, I found that out when I got there!! lol How wonderful, they never offered me any compensation, it was horrible. parking.. right.. there were trees around the parking lot that drops Figs. it dropped on my cars in my second day, when I came to the car to grab something it was infested. What a great experience. Good JOB HOTEL LULU you are off the list for my Disney trip forever.

We stayed here for a Disneyland trip, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and had friendly service and the location couldn’t be better. We booked through a third party and felt the price was very economical. The ART bus stops directly outside the front doors and it’s only a 13 minute walk to the parks. The room size is standard/small, but for the price, I don’t feel like it could be beat. The “park view” rooms are mostly a view of the Guardians of the Galaxy ride.

This review represents our third stay at this particular location. Sadly I have noticed a steady decline throughout our stays. The rooms are decently clean and mostly adequate. The cons far outweigh the pros during our stay. The water was shut off daily during our week stay between 11am - 4pm. This was a MAJOR inconvenience. Using the restroom felt more like a Porta potty than a toilet. Only one of the two elevators was operational during our entire weeks stay, this was also a major inconvenience especially with a cart and a family of 4. We noticed on several occasions a very pungent smell of sewage woft through our room. No idea where it came from but was extremely strong and unpleasant. My room key rarely worked and having to use when in the elevator was a hassle and inconvenient. The elevators often stunk of weed. The ice machines were out of ice more often than not. The parking lot had a pile of crushed stone obstructing driving the entire week that we visited. There is only one way in and out of the building raising emergency exit concerns. Having to always walk in and out through the main lobby was inconvenient based on prior visits where this was not a concern. Paying full price for these inconveniences is unacceptable to me. Room cleaning service feels completely backwards to me having to request service. The room service food was good but is subbed out to a different food service company. Upfront gratuity request seems very backwards to me for food service. This used to be our favorite place to stay but sadly after this most recent experience I will be searching for a new place to stay the next time we come to visit Disneyland.
