The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We asked for a room facing the park hoping to see the fireworks. We were not able to see them from our room. We did pay more for the room.
It's only about a 10 minute walk to the Toy Story lot where you can get the bus to the park, or you can walk to the park which is about 15 minutes with kids walking.
There are many games around the pool to play with. There is very little sun the until about 3 pm. The pool is clean but cold.

First and last time staying here. The location is good but that’s it. First, a member of my family got stuck in the elevator, the button for emergency call inside of the elevator didn’t work, she was pressing the alarm button and no one came until one of us got an employee and they contacted someone else to open the doors of the elevator. Second, they told us to request housekeeping if we needed it, we called and requested it and then we left for the morning, when we went back to the room everything looked the same so housekeeping was never there, we went down to the lobby and requested it again and left for the evening, we went back to the room and no housekeeping again. The next morning we saw a housekeeping lady and told her what had happened and that we needed housekeeping, she was very nice and apologetic and went straight to our room to give us service so thank you lady. The rooms are very old, the bathroom light kept turning off, and overall none of us enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at hotel lulu for 3 nights and was really pleasantly surprised (especially after seeing some lower reviews and how affordable it was). Between the comfortable beds, cleanliness throughout the entire hotel, and close proximity to Disneyland, I found it an incredible value. We didn’t use the pool or restaurant because we were at Disneyland from early morning until late night. I’d definitely stay here again if I was coming to the parks - it was a maximum 10 minute walk from the hotel to the gates.
If I was going to give any sort of critical feedback, it’s that there were no blackout blinds and it was quite bright in the room with the sheer blinds (but we brought sleeping masks).

We were here for 4 nights. It was about a 10 minute walk to the park, but there is a bus that will pick you up in front of Walgreens. It was clean and the staff were friendly. We had our two kids (3 and 5) with us, and the best part of their stay was when Lulu the robot brought us items we had requested from the front desk. They were so excited that we requested her to bring us towels the next night, and she also brought the kids cookies. They are still talking about it 😂

We have stayed here several times, and it has become a favorite. The rooms are nothing fancy, but clean, nice, and beds are comfy. This time the shower was perfect. In December when we were here, the shower never got hot, just warm. I don't know if it was because of renovations, or because we were in the second tower that time. Either way, still a great hotel. Waking distance from the park, but with my bad knee, we prefer taking the ART bus that stops right in front. It's my understanding that the busses are stopping at the end of March. I hope there is an alternative, because that makes this hotel so perfect. The staff are always friendly every time.
