  This was hands down the worst room that I’ve ever had. Room smelled like mold, the carpet was soaked! The window had been left open with no screen so we had mosquito hawks in the shower. Top of the micro wave was overall dusty like it hadn’t been wiped down in months. Sort of makes you think what else doesn’t get cleaned here. Rene was no help at all when I asked for a refund. I only stayed here for 5 hours as it was last resort since our original booking at a separate hotel had over booked and we were without a room for the night, this was all while we had a 3 year old with us. We were desperate and needed a bed for the night, shame on me for staying but even more shame on the hotel for not really taking accountability and offering me little to no resolution.

  The room was semi clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was in a seedy area.

  Staff is super friendly. Hotel is super gross. Feels outdated, dirty, and cramped. It is right off the highway so it's super noisy and parking is competitive. We checked out earlier than planned to stay somewhere else.

  Stayed at this property from Feb 2-5 and this wasn't my first time staying here. But this time I had a very strange encounter. Upon checking in, I noticed the trash bins had plastic bags on them (not laid inside), so I checked on day 2 morning and was told they will inform housekeeping. Day 2, came back to see bed was not made, except towels replaced. Plastic bags still on each bin (not laid inside). Day 2, was told bed not being made is part of their eco-initiative and if I needed it made, I can request. Normally to reduce cost, hotels have a way of telling you the room will not be made unless it is requested or if you stay longer than a certain period. Day 3 check out, gave feedback that the bins still did not have trash bags lined inside but rather, hanging on it. This time I was told it is hotel policy "to ensure the bins are clean". Are we expected to do housekeeping's job by lining the bins?? On check out, staff apologised for inconsistent messaging and offered points as an apology. I said that wasn't necessary but to avoid frustration, pls train the staff to have a unified message. And check industry standards as this is the 1st hotel telling me to line the bins with plastic bags myself! (speaking as a person who clocks 75+ nights on the road a year! And have a sign in the room that is easily viewed about the housekeeping practise of the hotel (ie beds will not be made unless requested). Overall the hotel is in a good location and good value for money, the key point to why I may still return. Lastly, very strange that I was not able to write a review from the IHG app, kept telling me the same email cannot write 2 reviews (when I never wrote one!!)
