Hilton Anaheim is the perfect home base for a Disneyland weekend! You really can’t beat the price for a hotel located just one mile from the parks. We stayed in a Park View Suite and were impressed with how spacious it was. It slept 6 (2 queens, a pullout couch, and a rollaway bed) and was perfect for our large family. We especially loved being able to see the Disneyland fireworks nightly from our hotel room window.
The recent renovation is beautifully done and gives the hotel a fresh, modern feel throughout. We dined at the new Poppy's Restaurant and Poppy's Lounge, and the food was delicious. We loved relaxing in the hot tub at night, and there were even kids swimming in the heated pool in January! My teens were especially impressed with the massive gym, which had all the same equipment as our gym at home.
In addition to Disneyland, the hotel is centrally located to so many other SoCal attractions. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting the area.

Really bad experience at Hilton Anaheim. I prepaid for the entire trip using a costco travel deal yet when I arrived at the hotel, they had all these extra charges and limitations to that deal. I was charged a fee for checking in 2 hrs early even though I could have had lunch in that time.
They conveniently forgot to add that not all restaurants are included in the food and beverage credit and I got double charged for food. They also refused to honor the final day of my food and beverage credit- $100 worth because they said it is check out day. All together I was fleeced out of 100s of dollars within hours of arrival by their “in house package”. Regret coming here. Should have gone to Marriott like always. Marriott services are much better and honorable.

The recent updates to this facility look very nice at first glance, but upon closer inspection, many of the improvements feel like surface-level patches and cost-cutting fixes.
We stayed on the 5th floor with an outdoor balcony, which was a nice feature, but it was furnished with only two lounge chairs. A small table or additional seating would have made the space far more usable.
The bathroom had a mix of quality levels. The sink and faucet were high quality, and hot water was fast and consistent at every tap. The supplied toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel) were also very nice and generously stocked. Unfortunately, the shower head and fixtures felt very cheap and flimsy by comparison. The sliding barn-style bathroom door offered very little privacy due to large gaps, and there was either no exhaust fan or it did not function at all. Toilet paper was extremely low quality—surprisingly worse than what you’d find in most public restrooms.
The main room door had poor sealing, allowing significant light and noise from the hallway to enter. Sound insulation throughout the room was also lacking; conversations and footsteps from the room above were clearly audible. Seating options in the room were limited to a single chair with a footstool and small table, or the bed.
The biggest disappointment was the bed. The mattress felt comparable to a low-quality RV mattress. While the pillows and comforter were down, they were worn out—pillows went completely flat when laid on, and the comforter’s fill was clumped and uneven, offering minimal warmth beyond that of a sheet.
Tap water had a heavy, stale taste, so we opted to purchase bottled water from the store downstairs. While I understand upcharging, charging nearly $9 for a standard bottle of LIFEWTR (not a premium glass bottle) felt excessive.
Security was also disappointing. Elevators claimed key-card access was required for guest floors, but this was not enforced—anyone could walk in from the street, access the elevators, and go directly to guest floors. This felt more like motel-level security. The only upside was that food deliveries like Uber Eats could be brought directly to the room.
Housekeeping was noticeably lacking. Each evening, the hallways quickly filled with trash that had not been collected during the day while guests were out.
On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the on-site restaurants served genuinely good, high-quality food.
Overall, this stay was quite disappointing for a Hilton, especially one that claims to have been remodeled in 2024 in preparation for the 2028 Olympics. There is significant room for improvement, and far fewer corners should be cut at this price point and brand standard.
After reading many other reviews, it’s clear that several guests have raised the same concerns I’ve mentioned here. In most cases, these reviews received a response from “the owner” that appears to be a standard corporate script along the lines of, “We’re sorry and have shared your concerns with our team.” However, some of these comments date back weeks or even months, with no visible follow-through or meaningful corrections made.
Because of this, I feel compelled to update my original rating and lower my score due to the lack of accountability and transparency in addressing recurring issues.

Leaves alot to be desired.
I am an avid Hilton user. This is far behind what I am used to.
Breakfast is 25 dollars per person 💵 💲
Gym is huge with no attendant and no washroom nearby.
Location is close to Disneyland, but Hilton Garden Inn is the far superior choice.
Room was not cleaned on 3rd night
I asked a lady directly, and she said she will have it cleaned with a smile. Not cleaned...
Pool wasnt used. Food court wasnt used. Reviews looked bad.
Poppys on site looked bad online with reviews.
Saving grace is nice mirrors in bathroom.
Its huge and disconnected from its client's.
I am top 10% hotel reviewer now, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
Will not be staying here again.
Either Hilton Garden Inn or Best Western Stovalls.
I know the cookie cutter response from the business will be, "we are sorry to hear about your stay...we look forward to having you come back so we can prove.." it's a crock of bologna, nothing will be done.
Teach your cleaners courtesy and reward their efforts.
Smells like foot, and las Vegas smoke cleaners 🚬
Also! Usually I can get a late checkout being with Hilton honors. No, had to pay 60 dollars.
Want me to fix my review to one more star at least give me my 60 dollar late checkout fee back.
Edit: Told you the copy and paste response from owners...so disconnected and just doing the bare minimum. Losing another star.

I booked a room for 5 nights for a conference. The conference group rate cost more than booking the room as a Hilton Honors member. It was the same room as my colleagues just cheaper. The room was nice. They have Crabtree & Evelyn products. I liked the lotion, so I used their lotion instead of my own. The 5th floor rooms face out to the lanai or the pool. I enjoyed it facing the lanai which could be a bonus if you want to let kids run around out there or sit in the sun. The downsides to this hotel are the food and the bed. A mediocre pizza was $40 or $17 for a slice. PF Changs was in walking distance. They have a lunch deal starting at $14.99 with an appetizer and an entree or just order a bowl of wonton soup for $10. The bed… all of the pillows flatten when you touch them. My friend had the same complaint about the pillows in his room. Also, there was no duvet cover. There was the duvet sandwiched between 2 sheets. I kept touching the duvet which probably rarely gets cleaned. It grossed me out. I let customer service know. They offered to send a duvet cover to my room or correct it when housekeeping came around the next day. It was 3am so I opted for housekeeping to correct the issue when my room was cleaned. They placed a blanket on top of my bed instead of correcting my issue with the duvet cover. I just gave up. Also, Hilton should add recycling bins in the rooms for water bottles and cans.
