First I would like to thank Victoria for her outstanding service. She was great throughout our stay. Breakfast was great. The omlette station was the best option. Our room was clean and tiddy and we were glad to see that room service had our room tidy by the time we were back. We had burgers from the hotel restaurant and they were giant burgers!! We Look forward to coming back.
The location is great but we’ve had issues everyday we have stayed here. From our room being dirty, to taking hours to deliver towels and toilet paper. Bathroom was filthy bed sheets weren’t changed. I let that go and got some but everyday there’s another issue. Elevators down as well. This is getting ridiculous. For as much as we pay for rooms this is unacceptable. Not to mention the trash and cigarette butts left on the balcony as well as a knife.not to mention all of the mold you can find and random holes in the ceiling in the bathroom.

Check in smooth but when you book they didn't mention a parking fee. 2 complimentary drinks for my buddy and I was good. Rooms are nice and roomy but they need to keep an eye on maintaining rooms up to standard as it is an Embassy Suites as they say. Bath door is split open and balcony was full of water as they don't keep an eye on maintenance.
I’ve stayed at Embassy Suites Anaheim North regularly for the past 6 years for business, but this most recent visit was by far the worst and clearly shows how much the property has declined. I will definitely suggest to my corporate team not to renew any existing contracts if it's expiring soon or had expired.
The room felt poorly maintained and very dated: faulty light switches, cabinet fixtures, shower faucets, and inadequate lighting. The sofa, carpet, curtains, beds, and pillows are worn out and appear unchanged for years. The only noticeable update was the TV, which unfortunately highlights how outdated everything else is.
These issues weren’t isolated. A colleague’s room had a faulty hairdryer and a leaking tap, suggesting broader maintenance problems. To add, there are 4 elevators serving the entire hotel but 3 were down at one point of time during my stay and you couldn't imagine the waiting time just to get back to your room after a tired day.
Amenities have also been reduced:
-No slippers or complimentary bottled water
-Housekeeping did not replenish tea bags or coffee
-No toothbrush or toothpaste
Breakfast has been exactly the same every day and unchanged for years, which is disappointing for an Embassy Suites property.
Adding to this, the hotel now charges USD 25 per day for parking, which feels unjustified given the condition of the hotel. (at least they waived this)
At this point, it feels unfit for business travelers and questionable even for families. The location is still convenient, but that alone no longer makes up for the lack of upkeep, declining standards, and added fees. I genuinely hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests in proper renovations. I strongly suggest a basic sanity checks to be done to all rooms right away to address the obvious issues.
Quite possibly my worst experience with Hilton, and being a Diamond member, think it's fair to say I've experienced Hilton a bit.
Pros: it's a pretty hotel that's close to Disney, Brea Mall. The rooms are cozy and there's hot breakfast included. There's TVs in the room with streaming apps you can sign into. There's a pool and a little square of a heated pool (both open till 11pm). It's nice to step out of your room and see the water, I sometimes sat there to read. There's an arcade as well (separate charges though).
Cons: Let me start by saying I may just have come at a bad time. During my last couple days I learned they had just let go of their manager, not sure how much that contributed to the ridiculous experience I had with the cleaning service.
It was essentially impossible for them to clean the room. We had 3 people in my room on different schedules, so they always came in while at least one of us was there.
We would ask them to come back later and they'd agree to return in 20-30 mins but never come back.
They refused to come before noon when I could guarantee none of us would be there (they prioritize cleaning empty / checked out rooms in the morning, not sure why they couldn't accommodate our room in that time frame).
They also refused to come in the early evening.
So essentially, they barely cleaned the room during my stay.
On the rare occasion they could come around to clean, they didn't fill up the soaps and did a shoddy job laying the beds (in other words the basics).
They absolutely destroyed my phone charger and wrapped it up in tape (I understand mistakes happen but there wasn't even an acknowledgement). Then to add a cherry on top, a shopping bag of items disappeared and I couldn't get lost and found on the line (still waiting for a call back 2 days after checking out and calling them).
The location is so convenient I hope this can be resolved shortly.
