What can I say about this place that I haven't already said. Still amazing and awesome. On this trip to Disneyland. We were checking into our room and the bellman brought our stuff up. One of the boxes that had a gift for our friends birthday fell off the cart and damaged the present. Expecting that it would be a, well that sucks for you situation. The bellman (Paul I believe). Immediately noticed and recognized the issue and let me know that he will be right back to fix this situation and just needs to talk to his manager. Not only did he come back very quickly, but Paul and his manager addressed the damaged gift and took the time to find similar items that I can give as a present in replace to the one that was damaged. Now mind you. This is roughly around 11/12 at night. I can't thank Paul and his manager for going above and beyond. Disney truly is magical. From that moment on and for the rest of the Trip. It was one magical moment after the next. From store employees taking the time to help me find items that I did not see on the floor. To security bringing a smile to my face with their wit and humor and the cast members staying in character. Oh, an we can't forget Paseo. Our server remembered us from last year and was so attentive with our dietary restrictions as well as centrico, the jazz kitchen and the maple. It really did make the experience so magical. So, if you have dietary restrictions. Don't be shy, because they are willing and able to make something for you to ensure you are taken care of. Disney you are amazing and can't wait to come back and take my blurry photos on the go.

Location is the only plus for the Grand Californian Hotel. They aren't upfront about rooms not having balconies, as our first room that had a "half balcony" was a window that barely opened. The security in the lobby was also rude and made us show our room key when he let another family ahead of us go through without checking their key.

What a complete let down. As I’m sure is the case for many families this was a once in a lifetime splurge. The room they put us in had horrendous noise at all hours and they couldn’t move us. No apology, no solution just “shrug”. The rooms as basic and on the smaller side. I had to physically track down a server at the pool after waiting almost an hour. We dined at Story Tellers cafe and after almost 2 hours hadn’t seen half the characters, another shrug and “it takes time” excuse. For the price point I’d except some level of customer service or at least a room that was habitable.

The style of the building is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It really is a Disney experience. The service was amazing, the rooms were beautiful and the location is fantastic! It is super easy to get to the parks. The hotel leads right out into DCA and right onto downtown Disney! The food is wonderful, not to mention the character cafe. Overall, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and spa is the best hotel I’ve ever been to. FIVE STARS!

🚨 My Family’s Horrible Stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (1600 Disneyland Dr, Anaheim, CA) 😷 We stayed 10/19–10/23, and on our last night (10/22) we discovered mold on the wall and actual mushrooms growing out of it. 🤢 The entire trip, my family of 3 had been feeling sick, sore throats, headaches, allergies, and breathing problems and now we realized why. We had to buy medicine just to get through the stay. When we checked out, we called and emailed Disney immediately. Let’s see what they do about this, because this was unsafe, disgusting, and completely ruined our trip. 💔 FULL VIDEO ON TIKTOK @Lalos.Fitness
