  Bed frame squeaked constantly. Wasn't very pleasant smelling in the rooms, lobby, or laundry area. Stray cats all over the area outside and strong smell of cat pee. All vending machines outside were sold out of water. Paid $17 for 2 smartqaters in the indoor shop area

  I have been coming to this hotel since I was a baby. For the past few years, I’ve continued that tradition by staying here once every fall. Unfortunately, after this experience, I’m deeply disappointed to say I will need to find a new place to stay. Safety is clearly not a priority here. Hotel staff allowed someone who was not listed on my reservation into my room. When I called to report this, there was no accountability or meaningful response. Later, they called back and simply asked if I wanted to be relocated to another room. Situations like this should never happen in the first place. Guests must be asked for proper identification every single time they claim to be locked out of a room. This was a serious safety breach, and it’s unacceptable—especially from a hotel I’ve trusted for decades.

  Great location, but walls are paper thin. The couple in the next room was arguing over losing the key and woke me. I could also hear their conversations with their kids, and it was just awkward. Also, housekeeping was over exuberant in getting to my room for checkout... an hour early, when I had my Privacy Please sign up, and really needed to sleep. Front desk extended my stay for an hour, but then housekeeping came again an hour before the new checkout time. I was very grumpy, and apologies to the housekeeper for a ot happy response. Management did reach out to apologize, but I can't give a 5 star for my poor experience. Be sure to use the flip latch, as that is what kept housekeeping from entering my room. Breakfast was delicious, and a good variety. Walking distance to Disneyland and the Convention Center. Thank you to Seema for a comfortable check in process.

If you’re planning a Disney trip, this is the spot to book – affordable, spotless, and packed with perks that make the magic last beyond the parks. The staff truly went above and beyond, especially one standout from maintenance. Let me break it down. Location & Convenience (10/10): You can’t beat being a 5-minute walk from the Disneyland Resort entrance. No shuttles, no parking hassles – just grab your Mickey ears and go. The hotel’s free breakfast (waffles, eggs, fresh fruit) fueled our park days, and the pool/fridge/microwave in every room were lifesavers for late-night snacks after fireworks. Rooms & Cleanliness (5/5): Blackout curtains = Disney coma sleep. The AC blasted cold No complaints – everything felt freshly renovated. Oscar The Maintenance MVP – Saved Our Vacation: We had a couple of issues, and the response was lightning-fast. Oscar showed up promptly, handled everything with ease, and even went the extra mile and did things for us out of the kindness of his heart this world needs more people like Oscar. His professionalism and kindness turned potential frustrations into non-issues. Best Western: I demand this guy get a raise. He’s a quiet hero who made our stay flawless. We will be returning here for are next trip because of Oscar. Minor Nitpick (Still 5 Stars): The parking fee ($25/night) stings a bit, but it’s standard for Anaheim. Verdict: Skip the pricier Disney hotels – Best Western Plus Stovall’s delivers 90% of the experience at half the cost, with staff who genuinely care. Already planning our 2026 return.
