  I was going to book a room here, until I noticed that there was a Carbon Levy added to the quote. How can you justify this charge when the Carbon Tax has been $0 since the Liberals removed it April 1, 2025? I feel like a complaint to Alberta Consumer Investigations Unit and The Competition Bureau Canada would be suffice enough to get a good, hefty fine. You’re more than welcome to charge additional fees, however it’s illegal to mislead consumers into paying a “Carbon Levy” and profiting off it.

  The worst night's sleep in a hotel ever (having travelled on three continents). Very soft, uncomfortable mattress and overly large pillows mean it's really hard to get to sleep and stay asleep. The coffee machine also doesn't work. Do NOT stay here if you have any important sports matches or work the next day. The front desk's response was we should have phoned in the middle of the night or somehow psychically known their pillows were terrible and requested different ones on check-in. When I mentioned the coffee machine, I was again told I should have phoned the front desk.

  I stayed for two nights during a work trip. The rate I was quoted with the corporate discount was more expensive than the “western” members’ rate. The soundproofing in the hotel room was poor; I could hear people talking loudly outside my door. The room looked decent, but there were some stains on the bathroom tiles when I checked in. The oversized pillows were not very comfortable, so I had to request regular pillows. The complimentary breakfast was not very good. I was not given any utensils or napkins for my to-go breakfast, nor was I offered alternatives for dietary restrictions. I won’t be staying here again; I will choose somewhere else.
