    Arriving at the hotel you could hear the sound coming from the pool of screaming and yelling, the elevators were very fast walking in the hallway you could hear the person above you walking when you arrive in your room you can hear everything in any rooms remotely close to you, in our hotel room the mini fridge did not work at all and all of our food went bad. The pool was cloudy and very murky, overall it wasn’t the best or worst experience.

    Use this hotel for a work meeting. Staff are great to work with for a group booking. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and a little outdated, but they worked for what we needed. The little extras included the coffee machine and water fill station in the lobby. The price was good value. Breakfast is available, but we had it at our venue, so we are unable to comment on its quality.

    Hi! It’s (Holly). I just wanted to say thank you so much for the great stay! From the moment I got there till I left was so relaxing. Front staff was always so nice! Thanks to the guy who called me a taxi on Sunday. He was so nice. The breakfast was really good too. It was so relaxing I almost missed my appointment on Sunday lol. I appreciated there was make your own coffee on the first level.

    At 4:15 in the morning a domestic dispute with a drunk woman and two men broke out on the second floor. It took calling the front desk to not only ask for the situation to be resolved, but also request the police be called. The whole ordeal took over an hour to resolve - leaving all those on the second floor without sleep due to the noise (banging, screaming, arguing and yelling). I understand the hotel cannot control the guests who stay in their hotel, but they can look after situations that arise and do their best to ensure a safe place to sleep is provided for their guests. The situation could have been handled much better and quicker. I’m also shocked the woman was allowed to remain in the hotel and was not escorted off the premises to sober up in a drunk tank. And we know she was not taken away as when it came time for check-out she was screaming at the maid in the hallway that she needed another hour (even though check-out was in only minutes). This woman’s room was directly across from us. I would hope this woman had been out on the banned lists of guests (as indicated on their policy’s listed in the hotel for all guests to read and abide by). Sincerely a mom and dad staying in the hotel with a 5-month old baby who only ask for a safe quiet hotel space...

    Will never stay here again. Beds not that comfortable. Requested an accessible room and was very specific in asking about it. Yes it is a walk in shower as I was told..not roll in but I didnt need that but very small ..no handheld and no bench and worst of all no hand rails even!! How do you say this is an accessible room with not even a hand rail in the shower? They did bring up a seat to put in there but big deal. Its useless . How am I to get him up or down gor that matter on a low seat with no hand rail? Dangerous. Also you need a handheld shower head for people who need an accessible shower. We never used it and just washed up . Next stop will have a proper accessible shower. Was told maybe another person was given the room we should of had but they might not even know its an accessible room and may not need it but they didnt have their phone number to ask?? They had my phone number when I made the reservation. Weird smell as you walk in the hotel too. Do not advertise what you dont have. You messed up part of our holiday. Thanks so much. Update**** I see your reply and that is a complete lie!! I called around different hotels directly. Did not use booking.com or anything like that in my life. Also I never asked for a Jacuzzi suite. I asked for an accessible room which they said had one in it and it was mentioned in an off hand way. So now you actually are out and out lying . I called direct and booked my reservation through your front desk staff after being assured it was an accessible room. That was what was important and what I wanted and needed. Wow also how is your dont have a phone number of a person who has reserved a room.. you asked for mine . If you look at other reviews I see that smell complaint on here before me and by the way all I said on my way out was It was not a good stay..thats it that was all and got the reply ya I read your review. You say you have accessible rooms yet you said to me there are 2 and one was supposedly the one I had and when I checked in and mentioned the no hand rails they actually said yes thats not right and you were given the wrong room and it was not their hotel but the hotels managers fault for no hand rails. Do not try and cover up your mess..admit and apologize Update#2 Thank you for looking more into this and apologizing for your previous response. I was being honest in all that I wrote and glad you realize that now too. I booked by calling the front desk of every hotel we decided to stay in advance when planning our route of the trip as we needed specific things and unfortunately was not able to book that in Cranbrook as one was spoken for and I could not find anything suitable anywhere else there so that was a wash up day which was ok as it was just 1 night so when we got to your hotel for a 2 day stay it was very disappointing to find we didnt have the room with the things we needed as I had booked . Thank you again for checking into this further and taking steps with staff to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.
