  I was an evacuee from the 2024 Jasper Wildfires and the RedCross had us all displaced here at this hotel. After losing my home and almost all of my belongings. Except for this one sentimental item, which was a photo album. I accidently left the album behind. I went through hell and back during the whole evacuation, so you can imagine how difficult it was to process everything plus accidently leaving a treasured item behind by mistake. To make matters worse, I was told I would have to pay to get "a way bill" at the nearest Shoppers Drugmart so they can ship it to me. I had only the clothes on my back and that one item that meant a lot to me. It was very disheartening to hear that they wanted me to pay for something. I didnt have any money to pay for it. I thought with my situation they could help get it to me from the goodness of their hearts. Unfortunately the world does not always work that way. For anyone who ever finds themselves stuck, where you yourselves have left behind something at this hotel or any other one. Let it be a lesson, please make sure you get it back. Do not make the mistake I did.

  I had a very disappointing experience at Holiday Inn Grande Prairie. The biggest issue was false price advertising. The rate shown online was not what I was charged at the hotel. When I brought this up at the front desk, the staff were completely unhelpful and dismissive. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or explain the discrepancy, I was simply told “it is what it is” and that I had to pay the higher amount. This kind of response is unacceptable. Customers rely on accurate pricing when booking, and when there’s a problem, the hotel should at least make an effort to address it professionally. The lack of accountability and poor customer service made the situation even worse. Overall, between the misleading pricing and the unhelpful staff, I would not recommend staying here. Be aware if you book 3 nights and expect you will pay 600 dlls and when you check-out get the surprise that you owned more the 1000 dlls

  Fantastic experience from start to finish. Upon arriving I was greeted by their very friendly front desk staff - including who I learned was actually the General Manager, Elizabeth, who was more than happy to step in to assist me while the other staff finished assisting other guests that came before me! I travel often for work and always stay at this location when it brings me to Grande Prairie. The rooms are ALWAYS clean, as is the entire property in general, and the prices are great! I couldn't recommend this hotel more - thanks again Elizabeth and the rest of the team for making my stay so pleasant every time.
