  ⭐ Extremely Rude Service The hotel itself is nice, and I enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the friendliness of the other staff members. Unfortunately, my check-in experience with Shukure M. was extremely unpleasant. She was rude, sarcastic, and disrespectful, refused to let me check in to a second room booked under my name, and refused to show me any policy explaining why. I eventually had to contact the police for assistance. The following day, other staff members confirmed there was no such policy and apologized for the situation. This is not just about money; it is about basic respect and professionalism, especially during a difficult time for my family. I am currently waiting for a response from the hotel manager and hope appropriate action will be taken. I believe the hotel deserves the opportunity to address this situation properly.

  Update: they have refreshed their furniture and my newest room was wonderful The breakfast is incredible! As someone with celiac I have never glutened here once! The rooms are clean but need to be updated as the furniture is getting older and looking/ feeling worn down or unpleasant to sit on.

  I've stayed at many hotels over the years and this one is probably the best, it's clean, great food, friendly staff, up to date. If you're going to stay anywhere in Fort McMurray this is the place, they make you feel like royalty here.

  This was our first time staying here after staying at a different hotel during previous visits. We were very impressed and this is where we'll stay in the future. Lars and team were professional and welcoming. Our suite was modern with in-suite laundry. The complementary daily breakfast includes both hot and cold items, as well as a station where a staff member will prepare eggs or a custom-made omelette for you. While some people may prefer to stay downtown, this hotel is located in the north end of Fort McMurray and was quiet and convenient for us. We observed that there are a lot of relationships built with many long-term repeat guests here (especially those in the oil sands industry). We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
