  Located on the intersection of two of Edmonton’s busiest streets at gateway and Whitemud with train tracks directly behind the hotel. Constantly woken up by loud mufflers, street racing and the train horn. Also booked two queen beds and got a queen and a pull out couch and the staff did nothing to remedy the situation.

  The room is very clean and because it is facing the street as opposed to the rail tracks, quiet too. Problem is, the pool was temporarily closed and no one cared to tell customers that at the time of the booking. Should I have known that I would have booked a different hotel since travelling with kids that was one of the main reasons to come here.

  NOT PLEASED with this Gateway location in Edmonton (zero percent) and I have stayed at lots of Holiday Inns over time. My flight by WJ was a cancel so there was no way to do this trip and knew WJ is impossible to deal with. I did not expect to get brushed off by this hotel and to hear I had to go through Expedia only. I was willing to accept a credit and not even a refund but the gal did not even hear that or listen to me yesterday trying to be proactive! Just wake up and not "skim hear!" She said it was cause I booked through Expedia BUT I felt 4th world class as it was only cause of Expedia I got the package rate to even be there, yes? Just treat all customers nicely and hear them and not just the Rewards members of HI! It was cause of the fires too and all smoke cover and I lost lots of money on ACDC tics non refundable! I had looked forward to ACDC for months! 0.0 stars on customer service here! (Aug 9/26). (Prob get the typical BS auto generated "we will be better next time" and no discount offer, watch and see!) (See comments as proof). They all do this as all greed out there now.

  Highly recommend this hotel. The staff members are well-trained, friendly, and very helpful. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

  We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception in two of the hotel banquet rooms. It was incredible! The banquet room was tastefully and perfectly staged, with tablecloths, linens, a stage for the head table, a dance floor, and buffet tables. We were able to comfortably seat approximately 110 people. And I keep receiving compliments on the choice of food! That was all great, but it was the warm, personal, professional, and friendly service that was the icing on the proverbial cake. Shout out to the catering manager, Anita. She was very helpful and provided me with guidance where necessary. Pramod was incredibly helpful and was always available! Our bartender, Sanjay was very friendly and quick! Thank you, Team, for going above and beyond to make our wedding a success!
