  Made a solo trip to Calgary and booked this hotel because of its price. Upon arriving, I was met with very friendly staff, and was granted early access to my room compared to their posted check in time. Room is a good size, has everything you'd need for a typical hotel room. Daily breakfast is good and hot ( hash browns, egg patties and sausage) breads, fruits, yogurts. Has a pool and hot tub, and the hotel it's self is in a great location, 10-15 mins from downtown core. The only critique I have is housekeeping took 2 days to coming in, instead of the usual daily clean you may get elsewhere. But when they did come, it looks good.

  I rated five star for the value of the hotel, The receptionist have nice, big smile that I rarely see anymore when I check in any hotel lately. The breakfast tastes really good. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Chinatown nearby.

  I would strongly recommend that people think twice before booking this hotel. I originally booked my stay for August 29th to August 31st. After making the booking, something happened with the hotel’s system and my reservation was changed to completely different dates I noticed the problem and immediately tried to contact the hotel to get it corrected. They refused to do anything about it. I tried contacting them and couldn’t get the issue resolved. I then contacted Expedia and asked them to escalate the situation because I had proof showing the dates I originally booked. Even after Expedia became involved, the hotel still did not resolve the problem. To make matters worse, the hotel went ahead and charged me for the stay even though I did not stay at the hotel and had already made it clear that there was an issue with the reservation dates. At this point, I am pursuing this further with the appropriate parties and will be disputing the charge with my payment provider. I have documentation showing what happened with the original booking and the dates. This has been an absolutely horrible experience from beginning to end. The lack of communication and the way this situation was handled is completely unacceptable. If you book this hotel, double-check your dates. Then check them again. Better yet, based on my experience, I’d recommend staying somewhere else. I booked a hotel room and expected the reservation to be honoured for the dates I selected. Instead, I ended up dealing with a reservation that was changed, a hotel that wouldn’t help resolve it, Expedia trying to get involved, and a charge for a room I never stayed in. I would not recommend this hotel, and I will not be booking here again.

  They ran out of hot food before breakfast service ended and declined to provide more. Stains and smelly carpet. Poor soundproofing. Free, but stale, cookies was a nice touch. I ran out of toothpaste so asked for some at the front desk and they provided me with a travel size that was almost 1 year expired. Pillows not great. The pullout sofa bed felt like literally sleeping on a metal frame (how my teen described it). Front desk was decent. I only booked this hotel because it was the cheapest rate and it was the end of our road trip. But you get what you pay for. Will definitely not be staying here again.

  Very clean room, friendly staff, and a smooth check-in experience. We arrived from Edmonton around 12:30 PM with our 3-year-old twins, and the staff member at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. When we explained that we were traveling with young children, she was very understanding and welcoming, and she did her best to get us checked into our room right away before the regular check-in time. This kind of hospitality made such a difference for us. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable stay near the airport!
