Buen hotel en downtown, las habitaciones grandes y cómodas. El personal es muy amable, el señor Abdel nos recibió a nuestra llegada y fue muy servicial y amable en todo tiempo.
El hotel tiene lavandería, gimnasio y estacionamiento.
Alrededor del hotel hay muchos lugares turísticos que se puede llegar caminando. Hay muchas opciones de comida cerca.

Spent 5 days at this hotel for work and it was a very comfy place. The only complaint I have was that the bananas they served in the mornings was green and not ripe but other than that, the room was great and clean, the staff were very nice. Would stay here again.

First room we were allocated we couldn’t open the door as there was a problem with the lock. Moved to another room but lock still felt a bit dodgy. Only one staff member in at anytime at reception also felt less safe - anyone can use the elevator as you don’t need key access. When checking in a person who was under the influence collapsed outside, which made me feel unsafe in the area.
Breakfast could do with at least some GF bread for toasting.

I am not typically someone who leaves negative reviews, but the frustration and inconvenience my family experienced compelled me to share this experience.
On the day of arrival, I received a message from the hotel around 11:00 a.m. via Expedia asking whether I was still planning to check in. I responded and confirmed that I would be staying two hours before my arrival that evening as I was still on the road trip and did not have access to the Internet back then. Despite this confirmation, when my family and I arrived at approximately 10:00 p.m. after a long day of travel, we were informed that our reservation had already been cancelled around 9:00 p.m. and that no rooms were available.
What made the situation particularly frustrating was that I received no notification that my reservation had been cancelled. I only learned of it upon arrival. Given the ongoing concerns with landslides and highway disruptions near Revelstoke, we had been looking forward to reaching our confirmed accommodation and resting for the night. Instead, we were left scrambling to find alternative lodging late in the evening.
The front desk employee was courteous and attempted to help by providing a list of nearby hotels. However, my family and I were still responsible for contacting properties, confirming availability, and securing accommodations ourselves. While I appreciate the employee's efforts, I was disappointed that the hotel's response was essentially limited to offering a refund rather than helping us secure a replacement room immediately. After cancelling a confirmed reservation without notice, I would have expected a more proactive solution to assist stranded guests late at night.
I was also informed that the cancellation was initiated by the hotel rather than the booking provider. This is especially concerning because I had clearly confirmed my intention to stay earlier that same day.
While the hotel later described the full refund and waiver of the cancellation fee as a gesture of goodwill, I do not believe that is an appropriate characterization. I never requested that my reservation be cancelled and had already confirmed my arrival. Under these circumstances, refunding the reservation and waiving a cancellation fee that should never have been applied were necessary corrective actions, not meaningful compensation for the inconvenience, stress, and disruption caused to my family. Furthermore, although I have been advised that a refund has been processed, I have not yet received the funds back on my credit card and will be monitoring my account over the coming week to ensure the refund is completed as promised.
Having stayed at numerous Holiday Inn locations, I was surprised and shocked by this experience, as I have never previously had a reservation cancelled without being notified in advance. During the same trip, I stayed at another hotel in Canmore that sent a similar message asking me to confirm my arrival. I responded in the same manner, arrived later in the evening, and my reservation remained intact without any issues. That experience reinforces my belief that a late arrival should not result in the cancellation of a confirmed reservation, particularly after the guest has explicitly confirmed their intention to stay.
Whether this handling of a confirmed reservation reflects the level of service and guest experience that travelers should reasonably expect especially from trusted Holiday Inn brands, I hope management reviews this matter carefully and takes steps to prevent similar situations from happening to other guests. If cancelling a confirmed reservation without notice is considered acceptable practice, I cannot see myself staying at this hotel again.
