This hotel called the “Holiday Inn Airport” is not the Holiday in that is located beside the Calgary airport. It’s causes significant confusion. I drove all the way to the airport Holiday Inn location then was sent back all the way to 16th avenue which is no where near the airport.

This hotel has very friendly staff and shuttle drivers to/from the airport. The location is very airport-y (there is not a lot around aside from a couple of strip malls but access from the airport was good). The onsite restaurant was cozy with friendly staff and a casual menu (exactly what we were looking for!) but the hours were a little limited and the prices were a little expensive. The rooms were super generic though as if they spent all their funding on the first floor and then did the minimum in the rooms themselves. Great for a layover or business meeting hotel but I would look for a better location if you are staying in the area for vacation.

Ideal spot to stay before or after a flight. Very clean and comfortable. The complimentary shuttle service is so helpful! Goes every hour, just have to pre arrange when you check in.

Great experience & super clean hotel! We had a small issue during stay, but the GM, Matt Henderson, stepped in right away and handled everything perfectly. Really impressed by his professionalism and quick support. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here!
