  Unfortunately, the room conditions caused us significant discomfort and serious concerns about our health. Room and hotel had a strong musty, dusty damp smell. We experienced coughing and sneezing since entering the room. We were unable to sleep at all throughout the night, and I felt that I could not breathe comfortably. We eventually had to leave the room in the middle of the night to get some fresh air. We had to checked out and shorten our stay from 8 booked night to 1 night. They still charged us for 1 night we spent without sleep fighting for our breath outside. The manager tried to force us to take another room that was still smelling and when we didn’t take it , practically wanted to charge another night unless we leave the hotel in 30minutes. The worst experience of our life . If you are sensitive to bad smell, please stay away from this hotel. The hotel needed closed down for health and safety reason!

  I stayed at this hotel with a friend a few days ago, and overall, we had a great experience! The hotel is very clean, the housekeeping staff are efficient and welcoming, the front desk team is amazing, and the pool area is very well maintained. The breakfast staff are always on top of everything, making sure the area stays clean, organized, and well stocked. You can tell that the employees put a lot of effort into keeping everything running smoothly. Keep doing what you do! The only thing I would point out is that the housekeeping equipment looks very worn down and needs major replacing. Seeing equipment in that sloppy condition makes me think that management is cutting corners or not investing enough in their staff. I used to work in housekeeping myself, so I know how physically demanding the job can be and how much effort goes into maintaining a clean and comfortable hotel. I wonder whether they are being given the proper tools and resources to do their jobs effectively.

  We have stayed here many times and love the hotel and pool and breakfast but make sure to check your bill!!! The last few times we have stayed we were charged 2 or 3 more times. And we were not offered a discount or anything for having a extra 400 charge on our credit card. That money was needed to pay for other expenses and now I am waiting 3 to 5 business days on top of the days it took to get my money back. We stayed here because my son broke his arm and were were in the Calgary hospital and we are from out of town then we had a issue with all the extra charges and also not being the first time this happened at this hotel. I definitely would have expected some kind of compensation or discount or future discount to correct this situation. Very disappointed in the current management

  Didn’t sleep well at all, could hear the upstairs guests stomping around during the night and early mornings. No sound barriers. Room wasn’t in great shape for being $200/night

  Stayed the one night on route to the Shuswaps. Check in was easy. Beds were comfortable. Had a struggle with the pillows. Way too soft. The room was clean. I would have liked a kettle for the room but was told they didn't have them. Tea drinkers seem to get forgotten. The breakfast in the morning was crazy busy. Definitely not a big enough seating for a full hotel. People were taking too their rooms because of nowhere to sit and eat Unfortunately the elevators were very slow as housekeeping were using them. It would be nice to have a dedicated elevator for housekeeping Food kept running out, but the staff worked hard to keep it full. What i had wasn't overly warm. It is a decent hotel for the price, and good location. I just hit it at a busy time.
