So I've stayed both here and at the Fairmont - my recommendation is to stay here EVERY time. When I stayed at the Fairmont, I kept saying to myself "the Four Seasons would never" because I ran into so many issues at the Fairmont. BEWARE OF THE FAIRMONT AND STAY AT THE FOUR SEASONS. While the mountain view rooms at the Four Seasons can have mediocre views with the parking lot in the back, everything else about this hotel outcompetes the other hotels in the area. The staff is extremely helpful, attentive, and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, as are the bathrooms. The food in hotel is great - SIDECUT Steakhouse is 10/10. The shuttle is so easy to use, and the spa is absolutely beautiful. The heated towels in the pool area are a lovely touch as well. Anytime I'm in Whistler I will only ever stay here again vs trying another hotel claiming to be luxury but providing lackluster food and customer service. The two Michelin keys are well-deserved, especially when comparing to the Fairmont which also has 2 Michelin keys. Only the Four Seasons should have those keys in my opinion. While you aren't going to be wowed the same way you would in some other destinations like Hawaii, etc. - it's still by far the nicest and most luxurious hotel in Whistler. This was a memorable experience for how much I enjoyed relaxing and unwinding.

Takes a bit of walk (5mins) to lifts, but great location, great service. We also tried the Macallan pop up (open during winter) which was a great experience too. Will come back the next winter!

A belated review for an exceptional (3rd) visit in late September. We were celebrating a special birthday for my wife Angela and we had a wonderful time. Staff could not have been more accommodating and the one or 2 'glitches' we experienced were handled deftly --- a measure of a hotel's excellence is how they handle problems, not just when things are going swimmingly. We would like to especially acknowledge David Marissink, Beyhan Guzenge, Sany and Erin the gracious concierge team, Steven on the front desk, Katie in housekeeping and Elisa in the Spa. We look forward to a return visit.

It is truly a neck and head above everyone else. To me, Four seasons around the world have some signature attributes, this property had the 4 important ones, 1- staff interaction ( in FS u always feel the staff are happy to be there ) 2- FS signature beds 3- great in room dining ( FS burgers always hit different) 4- branding Details in architecture ( check the windows, the four seasons tree is embedded without shouting it)

We recently stayed at the Four Seasons in Whistler for the third time, and once again, it proved to be an absolutely exceptional experience for our family. There were so many highlights that made our stay special, so let me share a few. First of all, our kids absolutely loved the daily s’mores at 4:00 PM by the fireplace. It was one of those little touches that made the afternoons magical for them. And after a long day of skiing, the pool, hot tub, and sauna were pure bliss. We could just relax and unwind, and it made all the difference. Breakfast was the ultimate highlight of the hotel experience for us. Not only was the service outstanding, but the food was impeccable, whether we chose the buffet or ordered a la carte. Personally, I couldn’t get enough of the French toast and the croissant waffle—they were just superb. The staff were incredibly friendly everywhere we went, and I have to give special thanks to Alana in the main restaurant and Sabine at the front desk. Even when there was a tiny hiccup—our room turndown for the kids was missed one night—they went above and beyond to apologize, even though it wasn’t a big deal at all. It was greatly appreciated and just showed their attention to detail. The entire hotel really is a lovely getaway before Christmas, with fantastic amenities. The spa deserves a mention as well—it was absolutely fantastic with the heated beds, the massages, and those wonderful robe warmers. It’s the little luxuries that made it feel like a home away from home. We also found the fitness center to be excellent. It’s open 24 hours, which was perfect for us to hit the gym early in the morning when we were jet-lagged from the UK. And of course, the ski concierge service was spot-on, arranging everything we needed and greeting us with cookies and hot chocolate when we got back from the slopes. All in all, I can’t recommend the Four Seasons Whistler highly enough. In 15 years, it’s the only hotel we’ve visited three times, and we’ll definitely be back in a couple of years. It’s truly a luxurious ski hotel that sets the bar incredibly high.
