  This is a hidden gem! Right in James Bay, perfect location for being able to walk downtown, around James Bay, to Beacon Hill, Cook St, etc. Upon arrival staff were friendly and helpful. The common areas were very clean. Our room was large, clean, and had a little kitchenette in there with a decent size fridge. The hot tub and sauna were a nice feature as well and the hot tub was very large and relaxing. The fitness room was large and had a variety of cardio equipment, cable machine, bench with dumbbells, etc. Finally, the breakfast was delicious and had a ton of options! We had eggs, sausage and fruit. We were very impressed and you get your money’s worth staying here! Well done.

  Location of hotel quiet and we walked everywhere in the downtown of the Inner Harbour. We didn't love our initial room but front desk allowed us an upgrade and even a very early check in and that made a huge difference! Breakfast was so so but all day access to coffee and tea was nice :)

  Booked to stay for a week in Victoria. When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby was fairly decent. Check in was fine. Getting off the elevator at our floor, the carpet was dirty and worn. There was a stale smell in the hall and in the room. It reminded me of a one horse town hotel. Dated, but trying to be updated. As I do in all rooms, I pulled the mattress back from the headboard and did a visual check. There was an actual bug that scurried to get away from the light. Shocked, as I had never actually found bugs under the mattress before. It was not a bed bug, though. I grabbed my phone and was able to get some pictures. There was also random hair and other bug shells under the mattress. We loaded back the luggage and went to the lobby. I told the guy we found a bug and that it was dirty. He asked if it was a silverfish, and I didn’t know. He said they are harmless and wouldn’t hurt us. I asked if we could just have a refund. And he said he could switch us to another room the next night if we wanted to stay, but we would have to stay in the room that night. I said we just want a refund, which we did get in the end I was happy that we had a refund, and they were not rude or mean about it. But I would not book at this hotel, or recommend it.
