  I was in town for skiing at Silver Star. The ski resort is 25 mins away. The hotel was close to all amenities. The staff here was friendly and professional. We got a hotel room on the 3rd floor which was recently renovated. The room was nice. Beds were soft. Shower pressure was very nice. No complaints.

  I stayed here a number of years ago and unfortunately it has really gone downhill since then. The lobby furniture was filthy and looked very worn and shabby. The hallways were also dirty and had an unpleasant smell, which made the overall first impression quite poor. The room itself was okay and reasonably comfortable, but the condition of the common areas made the stay generally disappointing. It’s unfortunate because this property used to be much better. I hope management invests in some cleaning and upkeep to bring it back to its previous standard

  We had a fantastic experience for our 2 night stay! The renovations are still ongoing, but we didn't hear a thing. The little gift upon entering our room, of bottled water, chips and a chocolate bar for the trouble of renovating were a nice touch. Breakfast is the star of the show here...lots of options! We especially liked the pancakes and eggs. Shoutout to the lovely young gal who was on top of everything! The moment someone finished eating, she was wiping the table. Coffee was always topped up. Surfaces were clean. She even held the lid up for me when I was taking some scrambled eggs. Nice to see someone taking pride in their work! One thing worth mentioning...the Sysco truck pulled up to the front entrance at 5am. Our room is directly above. The airbreaks were WAY TOO LOUD and woke me up. I know food service can be early, but we are here to sleep. Isn't the main priority of a hotel, the guest experience? I think so.

  No one at the front desk at 7pm. Waited for more than half an hour so far and called the number with no answer. Very unimpressed and the hotel is quite dirty. In reply to the response from the owner: Yes, she did answer my seventh phone call. The first 6 went unanswered. Having one staff person to cover a medium to large sized hotel is not really the staff persons issue. My review was meant for you owner who understaffs. Not the staff person who was running around trying to do the work of 3 people.

  Easy check in, rooms are clean and new as renovations were going on. Nice breakfast layout. Swimming pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, the black hardened build up on the pool edges was proof it had been there a long time. The hot tub was filthy and could tell that there is no one cleaning it nor the pool. I told the front front desk and the lady just made the normal response that they have maintenance people looking after it. Disgusting is best way to describe it. Anyways outside of looking at the pool the rooms are nice and you can wonder across the parking lot to the completion and have a pretty good meal.
