    I rarely leave reviews, but this stay at the Best Western in Vernon was honestly disgusting and incredibly disappointing. We stayed February 6–7. When we first got to our room, there was urine on the toilet and the beds were visibly dirty. It was so unsanitary that we immediately tried to call the front desk — except the phone in the room didn’t even work. We had to physically go down to complain. The only response we received was a quick “sorry,” and we were moved to a different room. Originally, we were placed right beside the elevator, which was important because I currently have a broken leg. The new room we were given was at the very end of the hallway, making it 10 times harder just to get to and from the room. There was absolutely no consideration for this. While the second room was slightly cleaner, it was still far from acceptable. There was a hair hanging from the shower head, and when I tried to take a shower, the shower head was half broken. Part of it sprayed down properly, but the other half sprayed straight out of the shower onto the floor. I stepped away for two minutes and came back to find the entire bathroom floor soaked. It was impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom. We were told a manager would be in the next morning to speak with us. However, when we checked out, we were told there was no manager in that day. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had — unsanitary rooms, poor maintenance, and no real effort to resolve the situation beyond a half-hearted apology. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend staying here.

    The hotel was not well maintained. The room was visibly dirty upon checking in. The kitchenette floor wasnt clean, and there was debree in the corners of the bedroom. Every lightswitch, surface and handle was smudged and greasy. If you looked too long at any detail, everything needed a clean. The bathroom walls / doors had mystery splatter. The shower drain plug was filthy. There was a old toothbrush from a previous guest in the bedroom nightstand drawer. I had to clean for a half an hour upon arrival & the wipes were soiled. The TV in the bedroom did not work well, it was pixelating every couple minutes (but that wasnt a big deal compared to the uncleanliness). The bathroom hair conditioner was also empty. Looking at other reviews here, the cleaning standards at this location are lacking. Give your staff more time to clean and training. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone or their dog. There is another Best Western "Premier" in Vernon that is much nicer. Avoid this one at all costs, The Best Western "Pacific Inn"!

    It was a Sunday. We were given a room closest to highway, very noisy room temperature was too hot couldn't adjust heat so had to leave window open so the noise was worse and bed was too hard. Not many customers but still was given the worst room.
