  Best choice for those attending Vancouver General Hospital or the Cancer clinic. Though exterior and lobby look a bit tired, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and functional. The restaurant looks a bit sketchy though we did not find there. Cactus Club is one block away for a decent and reliable meal. Pool and exercise room onsite along with a business centre This is a more than adequate and relaxed place to stay. A bit of caution in the area as there are some bad actors in the vicinity of the hotel. Note to management: Mattress reaching end of useful life in 812. Buildings in photos of cancer clinic and research centre taken from hotel room.

  I went to Vancouver for medical and this Inn was absolutely amazing to us, no complaints from me or my son I would absolutely stay there again. All staff were wonderful and helpful when I asked questions.

  Stayed here with my kids and sister to run a race that started in Olympic village. The location was perfect. It is also close to many eateries on Broadway.. and close to Granville Island for exploration as well did the day after the race. There is a decent pool and also EV charging. Would stay again.

  I’m sorry to write this unfortunate review. Holiday inn is fairly standard & typically I stay at the downtown one for work trips, as the chain offers good government/healthcare provider rates. I checked in, went out to buy my dinner, and came back to the room to eat and watch a show. The beds are comfy, but the tvs are old (you can’t cast). However, within 45 - 60 minutes of settling in- a brazen bed bug walked across our bed sheets and pillow. I phoned management immediately. They responded well (put me in a different room), stripped the sheets, offered laundry the next day. I wasn’t quite sure what to do. My employer and I decided to cancel our booking and go to a different hotel for the rest of my stay. Staff was great, bed was comfortable enough. But a bedbug is not awesome. Really not worth it. This hotel is central non-downtown location, accessible to plenty of amenities and transport. Broadway is under construction, and will be for quite a while.

  This hotel was absolutely amazing to us! We were there for my mother’s knee replacement at VGH but I broke my leg in the airport on the way to the hotel. My (low mobility) mother had to arrive alone by cab but was greeted and helped in any way she needed. Upon my arrival the next day from hospital the hotel happily supplied us with our every ask including a raised toilet seat and shower chair. Most hotels don’t carry these things. The food from the restaurant was great and came promptly through room service. All the staff were pleasant and happy to accommodate all things. We were very thankful for the hotel and staff!
